i do wanna get schooled about lyricism, though.
perhaps we could arrange a warlock-style 'friday face-off' thing. put a track of mine against a track of his, and discuss it, vote in a poll, all that shit.
warlock gets to break down and analyze my writing at length, and i get pointers on lyricism from not just him, but everybody else, too. its a win-win!
i aint afraid of it. sounds like a riot to me.

Actually i have to disagree. From a completely unbiased standpoint we ALL know that scruffy is going to win. not because he is more talented or warlock is worse, but simply for the fact i dont believe that alot of people here could be completely unbiased about it.
warlock most of the time is just not very likeable. and that taints peoples vision of his music. at least thats how i see it.
would still like to see a scruffy vs warlock showdown. could go either way.

pretty much what pigg said.
If we took a census of who do you like better, warlock or scruffy. it would tip heavily in scruffy favour. not because your a nice guy or because your cooler than warlock. it'd simply be because you are the lesser of 2 evils.
i would still like to see a friday faceoff, could be fun. hell maybe we could do that once a month, pair of people to 'battle' it out with each other.
i mean there will always be a clear winner but if we make it a common thing, then perhaps people will take a more unbiased opinion of it, paving the way for the grand event of scruffy and warlock. just my 2 cents.

Possible judges would be scrubb as he is new, jiffy as he doesnt hate anything or anyone and well I wouldnt choose myself but I cant think of anyone else unbiased enough. I dig both guys muaic and know that wh3n warlock puts in the effort it would be a close race.

I always do my best to be unbiased but that's hard to do when a person makes a bad first impression. Warlock was a shitty person when I first showed up. The guy talks a lot of shit and on top of that he thinks highly of himself even though he has made no real accomplishments (I'm talking goals @the-warlock. Do you know what a goal is? No, I'm not talking about the kind that a commentator yells in soccer). I would continue to itemize his flaws but it would make that fucker too happy that I would spend my time to mention him that much.
Fuck that guy. I don't want scruffy to waste his time and talent battling that guy. Just keep being productive...
to the 2nd flh album of which I'm glad to be apart of.

In all honesty, if Jiffy and I (and anyone else with an unbiased opinion) are judges we need to know the rules.
1. Is this just a typed out 16 of the best lyrics they both have....(I'll catch you on plagiarism) lol
2. The same cypher type beat gets submitted and they both get busy, submitting their individual tracks here in the forum.
3. Someone creates a poll....just stating the obvious.
4. I don't think subject matter should really count...that much. Its all about lyrically ability, metaphors, cadence and word play.
Does this sound fair @scruffy @the-warlock ??
Does anyone else have anything to add?
