I’m sure people who like jerky would wanna try it. I would suggest selling it around the big top stage or back by carousel. Yes the 2 gas stations are close but its still a hike up the hill with all those little rocks on the trails to get there. I mean shit, people were selling beer from their coolers for 2 for 5 and people were buying. I mean when your bombed.com or got the munchies like a motherfacko and you see someone with food or drinks right there you might just say fukkit instead of taking the hike. Besides, if your down by big top stage and wanna go to the gas station its like a 20 min round trip. Sometimes time and convenience might trump price. worth a try

If you have a drivers license and are over 25, you can find some super cheap rental cars ($10/day plus insurance…just sign up for like priceline emails and such).  Not ideal of course, but worth looking into if you haven’t already.  Hopefully people will start finding rides together once it’s summer!

2 hours drive is what, like 100 miles?  You can easily walk that in less than 3 days, I don’t see what the problem is.

Oh sorry.  I’m sure things will work out!  I’m also the type of person that likes to plan things out well ahead of time.  (idk if you have the car rental company called Avis where you are, but they don’t require a credit card. Just trying to brainstorm ideas!)  You’re close enough that someone should be coming through your area and willing to give you a ride!

Thanx homie im not too sure bout the car rental imma have to do some sleuthing. But ya im sure shit gonna work out. Id be worried bout vandalism ie. stickers or scratches or sumtin along those lines that would end up costin me more money than i can afford. Ur a good homie hope to see u there. Im startin to really think a FLH village would be a really good idea since u ninjas are the shit. I do have a possibility of hitchin a ride wit icp chris and sum of da 216 crew but we’ll see how it goes.

I do live close to the airport and they have like 20 different car rentals so the one u suggested might be there, but then again different places in the country charge differently so it might be pricey.

dammit, i was gonna make that joke!  you straight stole my fuckin set-up.

also…  it only a half-joke.  juggalos have done it up rougher than that.

i met a guy at hog rock claimed he had hitchhiked for two weeks to get there, but mostly he was on foot.  and the dude was from, like tennessee, or some shit.  not all that far away.

i assumed he was a full-time hobo that just made it a point to hang around the midwest in the summer, try to make the gathering.  he sure as fuck looked the part.

ya know, fungus, there will be a number of other juggalos goin to the same place at the same time.  quite a few gotta roll right by ya; and aside from that, juggalos have occasionally been known to do each other favors.  or put themselves up for hire.

hell, here you can hire out a cab thatll tote you all the way to stl [round a hundred miles].  direct to the airport, that is, and god knows what they charge these days, but it happens constantly.

or, cop a ticket for a short hop from your airport to columbus.  then get a cab.

or, stow on a train.

or, invest in a decent road bike, with an air pump and a couple extra tires.

you see where im goin with this.  options abound, for the bold and/or creative.

Last year I met a guy who had walked from the same part of VA I drove from. He left a week before and got there the day after I did. I gave him some food and water because he didn’t have anything besides ticket money and clothes on his back.

If you REALLY WANT to gather, you will. If not.. You didn’t want it hard enough.

Dwamn i was lookin at rental cars around me for the gathering and they want 100 per hour and over 300 per day. Its soo pricey cuz of that damn republican convention thats in town durin the gathering. I should of figured, since all the hotels around here marked up their prices 300 percent for that week.

yeah.  a good pair of walking shoes, a backpack, and a radio flyer would be a lot cheaper than that.

im sure you could get a better price at rent-a-juggalo, too.

Im not sure where your coming from but if you can’t get a ride from anyone in your area then your cheapest option might be a bus. They have greyhound stations in Columbus or Zanesville. From there maybe you can find someone else who is going and split a cab or even see if uber or lyft is an option or maybe someone passing through will scoop you up.

Was gonna ask littlefoot for a lift. But unfortunately he died b4 time began.

I could of rode comfortably in my bed but my aunt flew off on her broom wit the bed knob, never to be seen again.

Guess i can hope nature to sprout a tornado but id prolly end up in fuckin kansas.

Oh well, when theres a will, theres a way and u can do anything u set ur mind to

Im in cleveland and a bus to columbus and cab is my last resort. I dont trust commercial bus/truck drivers, they work them alot wit little sleep. A friend of mine got his faced fucked up ridin a greyhound that crashed. And how would i get a cab back to columbus afterwards. No worries homie its not crunch time yet and i know things will fall into place and when it does i will be dancin in the diamond mist wit yall

I saw a whole lot of people from Cleveland at the gathering last year. As for getting back to the bus station, I’m sure it will be easier to find a ride back from the gathering than it is getting there. I’m the same as you in that I like to plan ahead. I overplanned last year though. Like you said, it will fall into place….buuuut just so you know I did check greyhound for you and one way from cleveland to columbus is….10 bucks

MCL thanx homie. My girl was shopping around wit rentals and flights and greyhound so i kinda knew that already. Shes a coupon whore and knows where to look when it comes to savin money. 10 bucks plus around 50 bucks for a cab. I take that as kinda a sign just cuz icp has that song 50 bucks, i fuckin luv dat song. I started a new job this week so who knows i might have a clunker by gathering time. Thanx for goin out of ur way tho homie. My girl got my back and i still have options open, but commercial things are last resort. I know that alot of 216 juggalos go and i posted b4 that one of em might hook me up but he told me to hit him up around that time ie. July. They are icp chris, dave, swill and creepy if those names sound familiar. I know them and their circle.
