Correct, I couldn’t care less about any of the mystery acts they booked. Two of which were essentially one hit wonders. Just didn’t make sense to me. Seemed pointless.
Why not save the money and use it on only one or two bigger acts that would be on stage longer?
I was hearing rumors all weekend that DMX was going to be one of the mystery spots. Now that would have been the nuclear shit.
Guess I just thought it would be a bit more special for the 17th and all.

speakin personally, onyx trumps the hell out of dmx. although, dmx woulda been pretty fresh.
i didnt pay much attention to all the speculation, since it was basicly all wrong.
except that me and muzzy had been talkin up onyx all morning…
anyway, we were happy bout it.

I liked how everyone lied to Tech with their whoops for Luniz like they didn’t get a lame reaction. I expected everyone to know the “5 on it” chorus at least bc of the psychopathic remix on man’s myth.
Come final night Bone rendition 5 on it and everyone sings. Warren G did the smart move and split after the hit. ONYX was the only suitable guest act to tough it out with juggalos. Best guest no doubt.

Yeah, I thought three out of four of the guests were lame. Onyx is fine, and they’ve played a full set before. I met one dude who was SUPER CONVINCED that Snoop Dogg was the only possible choice for the guest on the last day. Argued and argued and argued about how he was the only logical person it could be! haha Nope!

I ain’t even gonna front. I LOST MY SHIT when onyx hit the stage! You can ask anyone. That moment really made the gathering for me. I’ve been a fan for many years and always wanted to see them and once I saw that logo it was fuckin on!!!!!

I didnt know Onyx til I saw them at GotJ a few years ago. When the jacked dude climbed atop the 12ft tall speaker, practically touching the top of the tent, I became a fan. So yeah, as a mystery guest I too lost my shit.
