I mean you did let us come to your hotel room and shower up which was fresh as shit so I guess buying you an extra hour or two of shade was no biggie lol.... Mitchell King broke my sun somewhat but my tent was taller so it didn't help much. Oh Mitchell you are the shit ...nuff said.

I'm just giving out observations without suggestions, heh. Really though I've found that there are so many factors involved with being able to say a spot is "crummy" that it's too subjective. I've seen people Gather in spots I would NEVER (even more than being in direct sunlight on a hill) CHOOSE to camp, looking comfortable as fuck. so... I'm sure there's some scrubbalo out there that might have some benefit to camping next to the crappers... people be crazy.

I guess as a capper for this here doomed thread (cuz like I said, this all becomes useless information AFTER this year's Gathering), I figured I'd drop in this last video as a visual aid.
It's filmed by the same guy that did the Gathering footage you've probably already seen in the infomercial/promos, but this is taken from the festival Legend Valley held three months after the first Gathering at LV in '14.
So of course the layout of people IS NOT the same as at the Gathering and even then, they have changed a few other things BUT it is VERY good at showing the actual terrain of the place and where everything is in relation to other shit.
My advice would be to mute the hippy music, throw on some of yer own shit and do whatever studying ya need!
Hope it all helps make your Gathering a bit better if not more informed!
