Hell yes, tickets received!!!!!!! See yall there!!

Well, my car officially has taken it’s final shit on me. Now i need to sell it for what I can and get a new ride. Got one in mind already for 2k, that being said I got the fucking bone and won’t be attending the gathering. Only thing keeping me from losing my shit over it is all the other diamonds raining un my life atm.

Im officially not going.  i ve had so many glimmers of hope that made me think it might happen but theyve all not amounted to shit.  There is still a part of me that might say fuck it the day before, and just get in the car and go.  I doubt it though. 

So now that we got the actual site map….

That place is gonna be packed to the fuckin’ gills, yo! While it’s good we won’t have to cross the street and worry about jumping in and out of private property an’ all that, the remaining space is gonna be limited as fuck. Tent City INDEED!

I also notice there’s only ONE set of showers… oh that’ll be a fun “line ride” to stand in.

Camp strategy wise, the Oddities site is gonna fill up the fastest: next to showers and all the stages and the wooded shade and out of the way. And Pro-Tip: plan for the sun. While it might be nice to not have it wake you up in the morning, it’s better to find placement to shade you from the afternoon and setting sun.

The place they have as parking is usually an unused void during other events so it really seems like they wanna keep everyone on that side of the street.

I also see a lotta fences and doorway bottlenecks.

The N.I.A. area looks the least desirable to me.

Looking at a real map of the place it looks like they filled in the forests a bit… unless a shitload of trees have grown since the map images were taken.

after just carefully comparing the official gotj map with the google sat images for the first time i am actually impressed with the new location. this will be my ninth gathering  and less than two hours away this year and on payed vaca from work. feelin like this could be our freshest bestest most majestic reunion yet. cant wait to zombie slide my way through those gates. its creepin hella fast so hope everyone is gettin as stoked as me. scoop woop and boogie.

A few things I’ve noticed…

1: Scrub Care Unit is doing a “Parking Lot Party” July 21/22. They state on their Facebook that they have done all their scheduling and whatnot through Psychopathic. Therefore, it is my assumption that they have been told the parking lot will be open prior to the 23rd.

2: Supporting #1 above, if you look at the map, the ticket booth is past the parking lot, at the perimeter fence of the actual event grounds. Leads me to believe that the gate at the street (refer to Google streetview) will be open but no one will be allowed past the ticket booth until the actual gates-open time.

3: On Scottie’s post on the main Faygoluvers site, one of the commenters is planning a pre-parking brunch at the IHOP 5 miles north of Legend Valley on Route 13. They specified 11ish AM. For what it’s worth, considering I’d be driving right past it on my way to the venue, I’m planning to attend.

4: There is no 4.

5: I’d originally taken vacation from work for Wed-Fri… Decided to turn it into a full week, taking Mon/Tues as well. So all I gotta do now is pack and count the hours passing by. Whew. Knowing this was coming next week, Yesterday and Thursday dragged ass. Glad I’m done ’til the 28th lol. Why do you care? You probably don’t, but I sure as hell do hehe.
