Axes swinging?Pass me by but it’s been done I feel like 17 needs a unique ender…
Real underground baby would be cool as an all out armegedon song. Not much to rap. Tho it would only work if they had the fireworks too because like I said not much to rap so needs to be a visual thing. Song as background.
Maybe walk into the light/welcome to the show. That’d be super dope.
I think they did Pass Me By for the Missing Link Tour when they did Philly and they dedicated it to this Delaware juggalo who lost his life protecting a girl and her kid from some knife wielding attacker. The kid’s mom was there and they brought her up on stage and shit man I was fuckin’ blown the fuck away.

It’s my birthday night so I’ll probably go back to the campsite and start eating hallucinagins for whatever is going on after. Can’t stand tech anymore so over hyper, played. And seen him too many times.

@cheshyr I was more creeped out by the sample of the guy taking about finding his “savior” on the Found song than by J saying he wanted us to find god in Thy Unveiling, but I get what you mean. Still think it’s their most epic song.
And I REALLY like that Found track! I know what they’re sayin’ an’ all but it is still a great track! The “saved” sample doesn’t bother me so much probably because it’s not one of THEM saying it and also (for myself) I listen to a lot of industrial music over the years and in THAT genre, that kinda shit is meant IRONICLY…. so I take it with a grain of salt. Kinda like “Mr. White Suit”; to many the song seems like it wants to be talking about Jesus… to ME, I am reminded of Richard Pryor in “CarWash”. My interpretation is a bit more pessimistic but (again, to ME) just makes the song that much more of an example of how deep the clowns can be (whether they intend to or not sometimes).
Personally, the thing that pisses me off MOST about that song is the fact that the track separation placement cuts off the song before the LAST SYLLABLE of the guy’s diatribe …”and once I found my savior, I was no longer af-…….”. FUUUUCKKK!!!! I sometimes like to sneak in “Found” as an opener in some of my dj sets and it goes great right before launching into Birmingham 6’s cover of KMFDM’s “Godlike” which begins with a booming preacher shouting, “BE WARNED, YOU SINNERS! TO ACHIEVE SALVATION… YOU MUST *PRAY* FOR THE INTERCESSION OF *JESUS*!!!! HALLELUJAH!”.
I just haven’t felt like taking the time yet to copy the tracks from the cd and create a new edited version… all for just less than half a second of dialog… that really fucks up a decent mix without it…

I think mr. White Suit is a real detroit urban legend. I’ve seen a documentary about urban legends a few years ago and i mean to remember that this legend was in there too. And that would explain why they say : “for ages the local legend of a man known only as mr. White Suit …….”

It might be cool if they made a song like real underground using themes from jokers cards starting at Coc – present and end with the revealing of the next…? Only nothing like real underground … I mean keep the same beat but completely switch … style & sound? So it would be almost like a different song every 2-3 min. Sprinkle some heavy metal throughout.

How about “When I Get Out?”
Dude. That could be awesome as fuck. I randomly sing “I’m getting out” to myself all the time. Love that song.

They actually performed “When I Get Out’ at my very first Clown show in 1998. Then they went into “I’m Coming Home” (which Violent J ended with during his Vegas solo tour show a couple months back). It was phenomenal.
I figure if they had Twiztid out there with them for “Dirtball”, they might as well end it with “Crystal Ball” after that, since they have verses on there.
It wouldn’t work for the majority, tho, you’re correct there, Scroff.
But us old school heads would burst with joy.

no diss to jaymo but your head ain’t right if you think he deserves to headline over tech.
ABK use to headline night one, but I agree, Tech has earned the spot. Realistically, he’s probably the biggest act to regularly play the GOTJ.
I agree his setlist has gotten somewhat stale, but I’ll still be up there to check it out. Can’t wait for this infomercial to announce more of the lineup!
