So what was the drug marketplace like at Legend Valley last year. I brought some weed because I knew there would be no drug bridge/cops on grounds so I figured it was smarter to bring my own and not worry about trying to find some and be SOL. I didn’t go to the gathering just for drugs but hey if some shrooms were around or some psychedelics I woulda got some. Im almost 34 now and don’t party like I used to but 4 days of good music and good people seems like the right environment. Last year was my first gathering and I didn’t see much of drugs for sale but I wasn’t looking too hard. I figured with the sheriff’s department on the grounds it would be harder to buy/sell and no “designated spot” like at the previous spot. After reading this thread it seems like there was some good stuff floating around. Im camping this year and not half steppin like last year so im sure I will see more but if anyone cam lemme know where to look or even things or weary of lemme know.

I check the GOTJ website like 2 times a day just to see if any new stuff is up and I must of google/bing mapped the area twice as much. I hope I didnt offend or piss any of the users/admins off. Just been reading all the threads trying to take it all in. I know its only 4 days but it was 4 of the most amazing days of my life. Ok Im done rambling on. This newbie will be quiet

Fuck, I was curious about some shit too, man. I toot percs every once in a blue moon and figure the Gathering is a great spot for that kind of high. Problem is, whenever it comes up, I get compared to a tweaker and shit so I don’t know how to find em there without being that guy. I call it valid questions to ask. Definitely not a priority like food, water, probably some vitamins, and whatnot. More like a nice portable shower. If you have the time and cash to go out and get it to make your Gathering experience a little better, well that’s just swell.

anyone that is Gathering-bound in July, that happens to coalesce around the northeastern plains of Colorado, and needs some great bud at cheap prices, I will hook you up. Either at my dispensary or from my own stash. I havent been to a Gathering since 2004 and I miss it. So I will live vicariously through yall. There is NOTHING like a GOTJ. I get emotional just thinking about it.

Only gotj I been to was 2009. Car broke down on the way home. So we broke the travel bong and had all our weed on us for the greyhound ride home. Wasn’t too bad. I was a minor so I hung onto the weed hahaha. Good times

^ this plays a very big part, as well as our own organic body chemistry. I never get paranoid as in “oh shit the cops!”, because I never feared them since I never felt I was doing anything morally ill. But it is more of an antisocial paranoia, where I let my guard down more than is comfortable, so Im internally battling myself. I know that it is great to be peaceful and pacifist-minded from the holy herbs, but life has taught me early and continously to still be alert and protective. Now thatI have kids, that increases. But it can also be an irrational, errbodys-talking-bout-me kind of unease, however silly.

And like Smack, I also am more comfortable with some backup silver bullets when I go out with Mary J. La bala de plata.

But it is such an important part of us, etc etc Ive already been over this before, but I have a spiritual, medical and political obligation to keep this thing.moving. Even during the random year stretches of almost zero tokage, I NEVER wavered in my passionate defense of the plant as medicine, fuel, nutrition, freedom, and such. 

Its almost silly that we have lost so many years battling with governments and society over this plant and substance. Like it feels like working in an oxygen dispensary at times; people need this and have had it forever, so why is it suddenly a “legalized novelty”? This should never have been an issue. Prohibition does not work.
