this is why i am really tired of him, his ego is really getting out of control, so independent artists werent touring before you? independent artists werent setting up merch companies before you? never mind the fact that strange music copy and pasted psychopathics merch business plan.......

Nevermind the fact that I just watched an interview recently where he said the Wonka tour is what broke HIM in to touring around the country and not just his local scene.

^^^Where is this said interview...in the land of mythical interviews?  No seriously ive never read an interview that said that.  I do not however read interviews that often so its not unlikely i missed it.

"Somewhere theres a Waffle House thats severely understaffed right now" -OCJ to Scruffy watching a second stage act at the Gathering.

to say that tech is doing better then ICP is a little subjective, something else sold 58,000 first week, Mighty death pop sold 41,000......But when you look into what tech had to spend to get that album done, paying various producers, paying all the guest features(B.O.B,Game,danny brown, wiz khalifa,cee-lo,big krit, serj, the doors, kendrick lamar,t-pain,trae the truth) where as ICP mainly kept it in house for the album, and none of the guest features on the bonus discs were high profile demanding artists, i am willing to bet ICP made more money off the album

Also the label itself, while tech does have a lot of people signed, look at the talent level, you got people like big scoob, stevie stone, ces cru, mayday, kutt, kaliko, while their artistic quality is arguable, nobody buys their albums, tech's fan base isnt nearly as rabid as icp's, and while they may tour alot,go to a kutt show where tech isnt headlining, you will be lucky to find 200 people there, also people say strange treats their artists better? not hardly, they have been gassing up the stevie stone and krizz kaliko albums for months now, videos, promos, tours, prozak's album comes out next month and not 1 video, not 1 promo, not 1 single, not 1 tour..............sounds a bit familiar to me, and prozak is probably my favorite on the label, aside from him only BLH actually makes music you wouldnt hear on the radio

I DO!! I bought all their new shit and its dope...I just seen a kaliko video the other day and another single..dont know what the fuck your talkin about dude..all them are goin out with tech on the new tour including prozak....

krizz kaliko has had a video adn a single dropped for so of sam

stone has had 2 singles (i think) dropped for 2 bids 1 stone.

itws sad ut prozak seems to get fucked the most, they did little to no promo for his ep last year which was hands down the best ep of the year. sometimes it feels like they are trying to run too man artists and some get 'left behind' which sucks, but at the end of the day its techs label.

yeah he's a kocky maafucker (geddit) and thats why i kinda stopped watching interviews, because it seems he just goes on about his ego. but (Lucem your gunna love this) i listen to him because i like his music, not because he is a humble ass dude. i love kutty and scoob but they are like d grade artists. kutt strongest release was his ep last year imo and black gold was a nice try but still a weak album, but he will never get dropped because tech  see's something noone else can. its the same with scooby, half his stufff is a rehash of old tracks, but tech wont drop him because techs teh reason he started rappig again and tehy been homies for ever and a day.

@Tech - don't forget the people who made you more then kc rapper. juggalos were there when people were calling you devil worshipper and scratching their heads over a black dude in white face paint.

Technically he didn;t say it I guess. But someone that works for him did, same thing.

"Tech N9ne appeared on Twiztid’s The Green Book.  The album, which at the time was touted as the duo’s biggest, went on to expose Tech to an entirely new audience that may not have ever heard him otherwise.  Thanks in part to his guest spot, Tech was asked to join the massive line up on Insane Clown Posse’s Wicked Wonka tour later that year. The all star tour featured Tech N9ne alongside Bone Thugs N Harmony, Kottonmouth Kings, and of course, the wicked clowns.  The insanely successful tour opened up the doors for Tech in terms of untapped markets.  As part of the grand scale tour, Tech and the rest of the Strange Music crew were able to connect with Juggalos nationwide.  "

I liked this part of the article

"Truth be told, Juggalos make up a significant portion of Tech N9ne’s own fan base.  Now, that’s not to say that they are his only fans or that Juggalos are even half of his fans, but Tech certainly owes to them some of his success over the years."

Truth be told up to 6's and 7's the ONLY fans Tech had showing up at shows were juggalos. I've never seen any show where there's "Small groups of juggalos". I've only been to shows where there's small groups of NON juggalos. And i've seen Tech in over 5 different states.

People always bring up the fact that he was on that sway and king tech cipher back in 99, but that didn't do SHIT for his career. That was him begging for mainstream approval. Juggalos held him down and fed his 16 kids. He sells 5k+ preorders because JUGGALOS buy that shit, aint no hip hop fan out there looking for his online store to get a fucking $20 copy of his new release signed, or a vinyl record. He knows JUGGALOS are the collectors and will buy that shit.

Someone let him know how they felt about him at the gathering this year. By way of fat soaked muddy shoe to the face. And I believe he deserved it. Mitch Bade nigga.

hmm, he prolli wont create something that loses money, simply because he doesnt parade behind the false ideals of 'family' and never has. callign your fans something is nothing new. icp didnt coin that little ditty.

Tech cares about making music. and that is why his label currently takes a huge steamy shit on psychopathic. because psychopathic is running itself into the ground with little to no promotion for artists (see: abomonationz and others), where as strange artists get interview with relevant magazones, single, videos and more. merch is on a whole different level, the quality between stange and psychopathic is huge, psychopathic is cheap shit n comparison.

icp is gimmick music and yeah they have sold alot more then tech has but tech has staying power, icp will be back to being forgotten by everyone but the juggalos after all this fbi lawsuit bullshit is cleared up. FACT.

Let's be honest here guys, Tech treats his fans better than ICP does. ICP and Twiztid will duck out if people in public, Tech will take pictures and sign autographs. I think tech understands a little more than psy does (although I may be wrong) that it is his fans that have gotten him where he is today. Honestly a lot of the time it seems like J is basically sapping money from juggalos, but then again, I don't really know the behind the scenes shit about any of it.

Also, Psy copied Strange with the VIP thing, but Strange's VIP deal is much better. My GF got me the VIP to a tech show for my birthday a couple of years ago, I got 2 ties, 2 shirts, a decal, 3 CDs, 3 chaarms some posters, and more. What do you get for a Psy  VIP?

Also, Tech tours MUCH harder than Psy does. When someone spends 2/3 of the year touring, they are touring hard as a motherfucker.

However, if it came down to choosing between a Tech show and an ICP show, I would take ICP every time. Tech's shows get old to me, no matter how much energy he puts out; ICP always captivates me and their show is always fun to me.

ICP has never needed anyone other than juggalos to buy their shit FACT. So "going back to being forgotten" aint nothing big. Their music doesn't sell any better just because their name is posted all over. Techs music doesn't sell much better after he posted himself everywhere for the last year which costs him hundred of thousands of dollars.. FACT.. So tell me more about this staying power?
