Payback was actually decent. Not decent enough to make me completely end my boycott of Raw and SD, but decent enough for me to tune in for Extreme Rules.
Kevin Owens definitely stole the show and the main event was actually much better than I expected. Well, from a Reigns standpoint that is. Of course Styles goes out and completely kills it every night so that wasn't anything new.

Anyone gonna be watching extreme rules tonight? should be a decent ppv. I'm not gonna type a big thing but I highly doubt reigns will lose the title this soon. especially with Seth Rollins slated to come back in June. It makes sense what they are doing with Reigns as the champ by pairing him with Styles and setting up the whole family vs club angle. Most people don't want Reigns as champ or watch him wrestle. On the other hand Style and the "club" (still don't like the new name) are what people wanna see. Put them together and you get people to watch even though everyone knows Styles won't win. All I'm hoping for is 2 things.
1. Styles and the Club beat the shit out of Reigns and puts on a good match. Obviously, like last time, Styles will carry the match. Fuckin Hogan Reigns over there can't carry shit.
2. Reigns doesn't win clean. I don't wanna see another lame ass spear out of know where all "Cena-esque" like after just getting hit with a power move. It's extreme rules, let the Usos help your or even a wildcard.

I personally like the idea of the brand split. Back when Heyman was writing for Smackdown, it was actually a better product than what Raw was putting out. It'll give people that have been spending most of their time shelved some air time. I just hope that they cut an hour off of raw and have both shows be 2 hours cause I can't do 5-6 hours of WWE.

The brand split is an awesome idea. They have a lot of good talent but they can't all be champs or get the exposure they deserve. And it helps the mid carders actually get a decent shot to get to the next level. Plus you have tons of talent coming into the performance center and if the top NXT people come up it give the B team down there the shot to prove themselves and keep the "farm system" full by constantly developing talent. Apparently Vince is really excited about the split and really wants to keep getting in talent from all over the world.

So I'm sure most of you heard roman reigns got suspended for violating the wellness policy.they new about it before mitb and that's why there was the title change. He was on raw setting up for the battleground ppv but on Tuesday he was suspended. Funny thing is he is currently still being promoted for the ppv. He will be off suspension a few days before the ppv but I'm just shocked they are gonna just keep him in the mix like that as "their guy". Dude shouldn't be able to just come right back like not harm no foul. That sends a bad message to the rest of the roster. I'm done with the whole roman reigns project. He had his chance and even though most fans booed the shit out of him he still persevered and did a decent(I'm being generous) job. But now that fuck needs to go to the back of the line.

Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Heavyweight title at Summerslam. Dolph...Ziggler. Ugh. Well, look on the bright side, Dean gets to keep the belt after Summerslam is over!
But seriously, I'm not buying Dolph Ziggler as a credible opponent. He's been a jobber for the better part of the last 2 years, why now the big push all of a sudden? It's too late WWE. Ziggler's credibility has been squandered long ago. And now you have Bray Wyatt jobbing out to Dolph on Smackdown? Christ almighty. That ain't doing Bray any favors. But then again, Bray has no credibility anymore either. So I suppose that doesn't matter either. But at this point in time, I'd believe Bray Wyatt as a better threat to Ambrose than Dolph Jobbler.

So what so yall wrestling fans think of the current product 2+ months into the brand split? Smackdown has been the far superior show so far imo however, Raw had a strong ppv showing last night with Clash of Champions.
The talent I think is evenly split between brands with the exception of the women's division. My girl Becky is essentially holding it down by herself on Tuesday nights. Still, I feel when it comes to the ladies, the right ones are holding the titles on each show.
You have KO as a fantastic heel champ on Raw and the best in the business right now AJ Styles holding the strap for the blue brand.
While there are still many cringeworthy weeks for each show, I feel WWE is heading in the right direction.

I'm Team Smackdown all the way. However, Smackdown needs more contenders for the WWE WHC. AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose have had some great battles, and I think they really bring the best out in each other. But now that James Ellsworth has screwed Dean out of becoming a 2x WWE WHC, they need someone new to challenge AJ Styles. And I'm sorry, I AM NOT A FAN OF JAMES ELLSWORTH AT ALL. I mean what a fucking joke. I know it's meant to be a joke, but the fact that he's next in line for a title shot is ridiculous on so many levels. How far will WWE let this joke run? And it's absolutely sickening to hear people cheer for this guy every Tuesday night. But whatever. In my opinion, they need to bring Cesaro to Smackdown. I mean, the guy isn't happy on RAW, and him and AJ Styles would probably put on a legendary match. While they're at it, just send Neville to Smackdown too. It's gross that they do ABSOLUTELY nothing with Neville. Love Becky Lynch, but the Smackdown Women's division is a bit lacking. Becky Lynch, Natalya and Nikki Bella are the best they got in my opinion.
RAW. As of late, they've quit with those god awful squash matches. They did it with Braun Strowman for awhile, Bo Dallas, Nia Jax, and even Bailey. That shit was so fucking boring. You know who's going to win, come on now. Bathroom break matches is what those were. I can see that they're doing with Roman what they did with Cena: Put the US Title on him and make that the most important title because HE has it. Which is really hurtful to the Universal Title, which is supposed to be RAW's most prized and sought after championship. But you know what? I'm ready to quit hating on Roman. I mean who cares why he's at the top? It is what it is. The guy has improved. And the hate on him is getting really stupid at this point, I mean, the guy can't blink without getting booed at. He's paid his dues now, and I'll take him over Kevin Owens. Like I mentioned above, Cesaro should go to Smackdown where he can be a main event player. But right now it looks like WWE wants him and Sheamus to be the ones to end New Day's Tag Team title reign. Which is stupid, but I find myself asking, if not Cesaro and Sheamus, then who will? WHO? WHO? WHO? WHO? (Sorry, had to do that lol). The RAW women's division is the superior of the two brands. Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Bailey.

The road to Wrestlemania officially starts today! Let's get some wrestling talk going again here at Faygoluvers. I'm not gonna post a lot...dunno even if the thread will get going again but I'll give a few predictions.
1) AJ Styles retains vs John Cena
2) Owens loses to Reigns
3)Zayn lasts a long time in the rumble (and finds a way to eliminate Strowman)
4) Big Cass clears house
5)Goldberg and Lesnar eliminate each other
6) Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Nia Jax, and Triple H are surprise entrants
7) Undertaker wins the rumble setting up a match between him and Reigns at Wrestlemania
The only thing I don't want to happen which might possibly happen is Strowman winning the rumble. I hate how WWE constantly pushes the big ogre looking mofos all the damn time. He is ok in the ring I guess but the IT factor just isn't there yet.
Lastly, look at the list of announced participants...it is a lot of bigger names on the roster. Not too many "throwaway" guys like a Tyler Breeze or an USO. Should be an interesting match
