When I hear these gangsta rappers turned wicked who rap about dead babies and shit it doesn’t sound wicked. It sounds lazy and cheesy. Lynch, NIP, etc.

Esham and the other greats stand apart because they create atmosphere and are more intelligent frankly. You don’t have to talk about using baby kittens for target practice to be the wicked shit.

As for as lo fi grimey old school wicked shit goes I’d say HoK is crazy underrated. Not overboard with the shock lyrics but some of those tracks were incredible.
