Esham and the other greats stand apart because they create atmosphere and are more intelligent frankly. You don't have to talk about using baby kittens for target practice to be the wicked shit.

As for as lo fi grimey old school wicked shit goes I'd say HoK is crazy underrated. Not overboard with the shock lyrics but some of those tracks were incredible.

Gotta disagree with you there, but only on the 3 albums you think are amazing.

mud, water, air & blood has too many songs that sound like remakes or retreads of shit they covered in earlier albums.

You could make a mash-up album using the first 3 albums, and you'd get Mud, Water, Air & Blood.

that might be the weakest of the 3.. still, esham & twiztid have much more than 3 amazing projects..
