Apart from BPB, which is a horrible name in it's own right, not even meant to be a fucking Joker's Card in the first place, the other's in this deck follow the standard of "*Adjective* *Noun*" or "THE *Adjective* *Noun*"

Funny thing is I don't remember Bang Pow Boom, even being referred to the 1st joker card of deck 2 until like May 2010 after Miracles went viral and the nuclear edition came out. Like 8 months after it initially released.

I remember J said it wasn't gonna be a 7th joker card and it was hyped as the return of the Dark Carnival. But that's it.

You can tell upon release they just played it safe and decided to roll with the idea of it being the first of a new deck. It already had the look. If it had some random cover like the Tempest, then Mighty Death Pop would have been card 1 of deck two easily.

So, they're not  doing a triple release this time like they did like BPB. But they're releasing three EPs to go along with it, and then releasing those EPs as a full album....BUT!, each EP will have a song that's NOT going to be released on the full album version.

I just can't fuck with such a blatant and obvious money grab.

It makes me laugh when I hear this kinda thing as if icp didn't put out multiple versions of Milenko where the only difference was which panel in an ad we got for the next album

I mean of course its a money grab. People do like to collect shit though. God bless the chumps that bought three copies of any album lol. At the end of the day though its their money so if people keep buying the shit they'll pump it out.

J said on tour it was the 7th jokers card. He didn't know what he was doing. TBF it's the same as COC and I think Ringmaster too. COC existed before the joker cards were a thing and Ringmaster was just posta be the the leader of the COC. And it was originally the dead carnival. The inconsistency and plot holes are in brand with horror franchising.

Well, for one, yes, the name of this Joker Card is silly. As was Fearless Fred Fury. I mean come on, Fred!? I remember joking with my wife that the next one would just be called "Bob" or something. However, I am excited about it being a female character for the first time and it could bring about some cool new material. I'm not willing to write it off based on the name alone, that's for sure. I do also like how it's one album and then it has follow-up EPs.

I didn't read every reply in this thread, but I did see a few responses about the fist deck vs. second deck. I became a Juggalo in '98, so I started with Milenko and worked backwards and was fully immersed in the first 6 in my teen years. I feel as though you really felt the "presence" of each Joker Card and they felt more like living, breathing entities. You knew what they "did" (such as the Ringmaster growing in size based on your evil doings), and they just felt like actual fleshed out creations. Of course, the albums themselves were the bomb and very consistent, with the exception of COC which admittedly is pretty rough in spots.

In the second deck, the Joker Cards don't really feel like the living breathing entities I described in the previous paragraph. Sure, the album covers have a face and there's a basic concept, but I never really grasped on what these characters "do" and the tracks on the albums don't really feed into the concept as much. Don't get me wrong, there are some bangers on each of those albums, but I find myself skipping over quite a lot more than I would on the first six. So, conceptually, I think the 2nd deck doesn't quite have that same cohesiveness.

But back to my original statement, I think this next card has a lot of potential and I really hope they embrace a change up in their sound. I'm excited to hear that Mike E Clark will at least be producing some of it along with some of their other trusted beatmakers. It's also cool that they have this album coming out less than 2 years from FFF. These guys are still on it and there's not a whole lot more you can ask for as a fan for a group that's been consistently don't so much for this long now.

Bang pow boom lures evil people out to the middle of nowhere and explodes, killing them in large groups

Mighty death pop senses people living dangerously and then possesses them, feeding off their reckless spirit until he explodes inside their head, killing them for doing stupid shit.

The missing link is more nebulous but basically it changes how we feel about ourselves and the world around us.

Fearless Fred seeks out people who aren't motivated to get out of a bad situation and basically tough loves (aka beats them up) them until they've had enough and finally do something about their situation.

On the Subject of Yum Yum Bedlum I'm positive its gonna be a strange album. I could have swore Violent J mentioned somthing about working with Alien Ant Farm in the interview with spin. A few tracks was mentioned. I really don't know if that's supposed to be on Yum Yum Bedlum or somthing else that J never mentioned on the seminar out if Spin took it out of context.

They could be on one of the seeds of yum yum albums or icp could be on an aaf album

I'm gonna say the main album. I feel like J has been wanting to work with a group or someone off the wall. I remember he offered a collabo with Jack White on Mighty Death Pop he rejected. Would have been nice to have a decent track with White. Rather then the spontaneous crap tracks they did.

I actually really love this cover:

J can't sing. At all, but it works with this. It sounds like something a legit insane clown would sing after murdering someone.

J makes an appearance in AAF's most recent video. So, seems like they may have some prior connection. No clue if J means he's working with the full band for an ICP song, or just an appearance from the singer, or something else entirely.

OOH! VERY UGLY SHE IS. A CROSS LISA SIMPSON / MIXED WITH THE BLAHZAY ROZE CARTOON LOGO.  A BETTER NAME FOR THE "CARD" WOULD HAVE BEEN...  ' THE FOOLZ FLOWER '....... SINCE THE FOOL, IS THE FIRST CARD OF THE TAROT MAJOR ACANA, WHICH IS WHERE THE JOKERS CARD ORIGINATES... YO J' DM ME FOR THE NEXT, I'LL MAKE SURE TO STEER YA RIGHT DAWG.
