My boy Shaggy had some shitters on Black Rain album. Alcohol was the problem.

To be fair, I think the suffercate thing is just a dialect difference. Just like how J says Punkin instead of pumpkin. Or some people from Missouri (I think?) add an R sound to things like Wash becoming Warsh

Those are absolutely regional dialects. Language changes over time and in different areas. It’s actually pretty neat if you look into it.

I like “suffercate”. It’s like suffocating but he’s adding in a little extra flare which makes sense for the character. Just like “helichopter” is a helicopter that means business. At least that’s how I always heard em.
Any time the say “EXcape” it bothers the fuck out of me. That’s not dialect. It’s just wrong.

Maybe when J talks about poop he’s referring to the fact that one of the first signs a kid might be a serial killer is fecal manipulation and obsession with feces. Then they mutilate animals.

Also, Shaggy’s verse on Madhouse is pretty horrible.
Only part of miracles that gets me is when shaggy says scientists are lying and getting him pissed. I actually like the idea of the song.
I see the devil is pretty lame to me.
The part of Confederate flag when they’re attacking bigotry, yet shaggy uses a homophobic slur.
There are more I can’t think of. I will keep coming back and posting them. They can’t all be zingers.

Shaggy does this thing where he rearranges the sentence format in order to make the rhyme work. The only example I can think of atm is 45 minutes. “the knot was tight and good” “kill him, someone should” vs someone should kill him. It still makes sense, but it sounds like a lazy rhyme to me.
