idk i think most people would say they went downhill when mike e came back. the wraiths were fresh & icp did the calm themselves supposedly. mike e started workin with them again after that tho from ftfo to now
but yeah i dont think anyone can replace mike e maybe fritz could or maybe they could bring mike p back for an album

I really feel like mike e clark is essential for icp's main albums nowadays. mike clark was gone from mid 2001-mid 2005 that is technically about 4 years. from forgotten freshness vol3 to forgotten freshness vol4. both shangri-la and hell's pit are the shit and i enjoy the calm but they each have there own sound, whereas clarks music all kinda vibes. u can almost play coc, beverly kills, ringmaster, etc..... and so on all the way to bizzar and jump to bang pow boom and keep going. the vibe doesnt change really. i think mike p should come back and do some tracks with psychopathic every once in a while, maybe with zug izland returning but i doubt it. i want mec to produce the next dark lotus even though opaque brotherhood is really really fucking good. fritz needs to return also, he did just do abk's perception vs reality ep which is good

Mec has been using softer sounds, i've been saying this for years. His guitars even got soft. I don't understand it either cause even after he left psy and did project deadman, those fuckin beats were dope.
The death pop was pretty damn good tho.
I think the line up should be
MEC / Mike P - ICP
Fritz - Twiztid/ABK/BLAZE
I'd like to see Mike p and Mike e in the studio working on the next album together, that'd be cool to see what they come up with.

ICP without Mike E Clark was good but it wasn't pure. We can compare the ICP era without The Mad Scientist to the Bad Religion era without Brett Gurewitz. The sound was good but it was not what brought them to the dance. I don't think ICP could last without such a great mastermind like M.E.C behind the boards. I mean Clark has magic within his production and because of his history working with Kid Rock, Geoge Clinton, and Eazy-E. He can get anybody he wants to work with him. That's how he got Tim Armstrong of Rancid to contribute to "It's All Over" [Tidbit: Not many people know that but actually the guitars on the song was not Mike Clark or Legs Diamond. It was Tim Armstrong.]. Fritz and ROC should team up for a future Twiztid project or finally get that Zodiac Imprint album out finally.

Icp made themselfss not mike e Clark he did beats and production that's like say tech wouldn't be where he is with out seven or eminem wouldn't be shit without dre. But lyrically they could make it with out them mike e Clark needs better beats most of em on mdpi was whack
Dre dosent even produce half of his beats, hell he released songs from his fucking album that he didnt produce and that he didnt even have a verse on, Dr.Dre is the epitome of lazy

eminem would of made it no matter who his producer and beat maker was
supposedly he was about to quit rappin right before he got signed cuz he hadnt got signed & wasnt makin any money
i mean yeah its hard to say someone that skilled wouldnt eventually get put on but it was definitely a very likely possibility tho
