I don’t like the effeminate dudes voice on “Trapped Insides”‘s chorus but the rest of the album is great. Even Shaggs finally steps his game up after his verbal kitty litter on Black Rain.

Looking at it all, at this moment I’d say that if we never have another Dark Lotus album again, at least they ended the trilogy with that great ass song. Very fitting, all the DL music like one big, schizophrenic yet uplifting story. I got a fucking Lotus cross for my first tat at 17… saw their very first performance at GOTJ 2001, and even caught one of the very few one shot DL shows wedged in between the other PSY tour. For Chrissakes, my first born daughter is named Lotus hahahaha… you can’t say the music never had some kind of impact on us all.
It was a perfect run almost, despite the “sixth petal” dramas.
Could’ve done without “Doornail Dorothy”, maybe.

Hot poison isn’t that bad to me, I just can’t get by the part in the chorus where J says “When they built the pyramids they were bumpin’ this shit” because it just doesn’t make any fuckin’ sense at all. Even if that CD existed way the fuck back in history when they did build the pyramids, I doubt the pharaohs would’ve been bumpin’ it. You ever heard Egyptian music? My God LTB, does it fuckin’ suck dude. You think Hot Poison is bad? Check out some Egyptian shit sometime, makes Hot Poison look like a Psychopathic classic, even though it makes no fucking sense at all due to the time when it came out to when the pyramids were actually built.
Witch Trapped in a Song I could never get into. Chorus kills it for me, it’s also too fucking long. Heinous is the best track on the album in my opinion. Album is the shit.

Heinous is that SHIT! If I remember, every rapper comes correct in that track.

Funny that there is so much hate for Hot Poison. I love that song…but then I love pretty much every song on this album :-)
