I will agree that the whole of the culture did appear more.. well, presentable, back in the day. Around the time I stopped going to GOTJ every year (2004 was my last) and they eventually headed to that southern Illinois joint for like 29 years lol, the demographic did seem to alter.

Joe and Joey grew up next to Webster middle school in Ferndale. I saw it on their historical tours DVD. Its a working class suburb. Not all suburbs are like in the movie American Pie. They hung out in Delray in their 20s and thats not even a actual hood its a ghost town with a handful polish family immigrants that cant afford to move away from Zug Island.

Part of the reason modern day juggalos are trash is because now hardcore drugs like heroin is sadly common in all suburbs since the mid 2000s. People like Eminem and that Lil white i think (oxy cotin xanax bars song guy) had zero street cred so the only laws they could talk about breaking and glamorize was taking drugs like its the cool thing to do.Even Steve-O was glamorizing doing crazy drugs in skate board videos.

No one knew what the fuck a Valium was in high school until purple pills song came out. Sometimes the source of opiates is the medicine cabinet. Or even the grocery store where they can buy whippets. Drugs arnt some exclusive things a white person needs to purchase from a black guy in the hood.

Majority of juggalos were smart back in the day. Before social media bull shit alot were networking online making websites with angelfire / geocities and making their own websites and forums from scratch. It was windows xp days but HTML from scratch, graphic design making 3d GIF pictures. I couldn't imagine most modern day juggalos capable of that kind of technical talent.
