I’ll reiterate that you just need to step outside of the genre. I can find joy in almost any genre barring cookie cutter pop. Step outside of your comfort zone and throw preconceptions out the window. If you can’t find anything new, or are waiting for the next revolution in music, maybe think about looking back? There is a SHITLOAD of classic music out there. It just sucks for us who love horrorcore because the genre is kinda new and we don’t have a lot of classics to look back on.

they are all 100% fire albums. Chino Xl’s album was hands down one of the greatest releases of 2012. same with freebasing with kevin bacon.

and this is all music you dont really ahve to search very hard for.

I know a lot of people here don’t like most of the new Strange Music artists, and I don’t get why. They’re all pretty good MAYDAY!, Ces Cru, Rittz, Stevie Stone. Shit, they got something for everyone there, MAYDAY! and Ces Cru for more lyrical Hip-Hop, Brotha Lynch for that Horrorcore sound, Prozak for darker tracks, Kutt for more modern rap, but still dope sound. I know that this is the Psychopathic Records part of the forum, but for music that usually doesn’t disappoint often.  

 

 

Rittz, Tech, Kutt, and BLH are the only good artists on Strange.  They do have something for everyone and do different things.  The funny thing about that is, if PSY does that, boy do ppl bitch about it.  Everyone wants them to do the same shit over and over.  If they try something new or sign a new artist to change things up, it all gets pre-judged.  Strange is allowed to do it but PSY cant?  Strange can sign anyone in the world, and their albums are automatically golden.

also imo kutt is the weakest artist on strange. his music is good but it is kinda boring. same as jay rock, great music but you can only make so many song about selling/smoking crack, being poor and gangs killing each other before it gets old hat.

Never said Strange signs washed up artists.  I said alot of them suck though.  Ces Cru, Krizz, Mayday, Wreck as a solo, Stevie Stone all suck IMO.  Some love them, some dont.  Then again, Im not a Strange fanatic and like everyone.  I like the artists I said before.  yes I know some say Ces has sick flows and they are bomb, blah blah blah.  I cant stand them.  Krizz is good for being a hype man and doing some ocassional choruses.  The good thing is we are all different and we all have our own taste.

Ces Cru and Mayday don’t suck. Krizz KAliko has some good albums. but I cant agree with u on some of the strange music artists.

yeah i get what your saying about strange artists, i didnt like ces cru at first but they grew on me.

its all opinion at the end of teh day. and i could argue that all day, but my heart aint in it today, im busy for a change hahaha.

As for kayne west his music sounds like every other cliche rap song i hear on the radio. ive always thought his production and lyricism were trash. but hey, what do i know about music right? i thought the production on the grimey awards is kinda average and apparently that was the wrong conclusion to come too.

Man I review any and all kinds of submissions here on Faygoluvers.  Most are artists we might never had heard of before.  That being said check out some reviews, generate a wider appreciation for different genres, and don’t be afraid to go against “juggalo/Family” opinion.  We are all unique with our own flavors and tastes, find yours and own it.  Want some good hip hop check out that new Rittz or Slaine album.  Want more horrorcore wicked shit check out Brotha Lynch Hung.  Want more mainstream sound from an unknown group outside of this Southwest check out CCS (Cultivate Creative Sounds) and Kali Connect.  New Horrocore groups like Black Project and Mr. Grey.  There are great artists out there you just gotta find em.
