Well since you speak for the rest of humanity, it sounds like you're an expert to me!
for the record…
i was most definitely not speaking for humanity, just expressing my own opinion. my expertise is limited to temporal subjects.
as far as i can tell, all of these different viewpoints are equally correct.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I don't see why people need this god to do what they know to be moral. If you read the bible you'll actually realize just how immoral this god character actually is, hell, according to the bible god didn't even want you to have morality or intelligent thought, he forbid it. This imaginary character teaches hate and claims perfection. So many people blindly follow this psychotic figure with out questioning why. Regardless of his existence, why would you follow this monster? Secular humanism, so many of our greatest philosophers and brightest thinkers realized this. The word 'sin' is a restrictive word because it's not what you do that makes you evil but why you do it. If I kill a man the bible says I'm evil just for killing him. If I killed a man as a last resort to save a crowded train full of people because this man was going to some how detonate a bomb or something to kill everybody on that train is that evil? It's a 'sin' but is it really evil?
I do my best to act morally without the threats of hell or the bribes of heaven and consistently become rewarded with steaming piles of shit, but I still try regardless of these constant outcomes. Then I get told that I need a god to be really moral because I'm just an imperfect shame compared to him, I should be grateful of his presence. Or I get told that I'm some kind of monster who deserves to be "raped by the devil" in hell for not believing. Fuck that.
And people wonder why I'm filled with misanthropy.

Fuck you, never touched that shit, I'm 100% clean and always have been. Are you?
Your fucking idiot imbecile insult is supposed to give me a reason to not be filled with misanthropy? Do you think? No, real question, can you actually think? "Oh, this kid doesn't like people, let's insult him that will give him a different outlook! Let's not only insult him, lets place an accusation and complete judgement on his character with no evidence to back it up That will bring him around and start liking people!!"
Another reason I don't like people, instead of trying to help a person with their fallacies they instead insult and condemn them for said fallacy.

Yeah I've heard that theory and there maybe some truth to it. But what you've been taught there sounds like a self limiting belief to me. But if it works for you, then all power to you bro!
There's no limit to love. Only hate since hate has a time limit and won't last forever.
A theory is open to change. Jesus made the most narrow and blunt statement anyone has made.
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
It's everything else that's a theory because it's everything else that has humans trying to be like God. Whether it's by bowing down 5 times a day trying to earn their way in Heaven or whether it's by 'secret knowledge' and drug abuse or whether it's by science and technology thinking we can do it on our own. Jesus is the only one that doesn't change and flat out says nothing we do on our own is going to save us. Like a dog chasing his or her tail. What favors can we do for someone that's already perfect? We're supposed to live in love and do what's right for our own sake but not because we're earning anything or can do it ourselves. People that try to earn it and do it themselves eventually end up miserable and always wanting more. It's only the people who recognize the need to be saved by Jesus who end up happy and free because all the weight on their shoulders has been lifted and they can be content even to death. Either way he's on all our minds because he said his name will be exalted above all names. So people either spend their lives loving (working for) or hating (conspiring against) him.

Yeah I ain't an expert either Only saying what I observe. IMO I haven't found happier people than true Christians. The ones that actually live out of love and follow what Jesus said. Not the wolves in sheeps clothing out there who condemn everyone to hell or try to sell us stuff we don't need.

It will be interesting to see the reaction to this film clip. I predict a wave of hate, but that's nothing new for ICP. It's just sad it seems most of it comes from people who claim to be a Juggalo. Seems to me like a lot of Juggalos can't handle when the hate and misunderstanding is turned towards them and they feel they need to defend themselves…FUCK THAT!
If there was one rule I wish all Juggalos would adopt (especially online) it would be "never feel the need to defend yourself against a hater" just ignore them, eventually they get bored and go away. Seriously it's how to deal with a bully 101. Plus it looks so lame seeing people try to defend ICP or trying to justify why they are a Juggalo to haters. They'll never get it because they either don't want to, or they are too close minded to understand so why even bother?
As for the God issue, my understanding is that we are all God, we are all energy interconnected with everything in the universe but our limited 5 senses create an illusion of separation. Where's God? Inside you. That's where you want to start looking, but it requires you to meditate and go beyond the thoughts of the mind to be able to get a much better understanding.
If you haven't watched a David Icke seminar I can't recommend it enough, look him up on YouTube.
Another amazing thing that has happened recently is an atheist neurosurgeon died for seven days after getting an E-coli infection in his spine and brain. An infection that kills 90% of people who get it or if they don't die they end up brain dead. This guy not only survived, but has written a book about what happened and has done a complete 180 on his beliefs. Check it out here http://www.naturalnews.com/037.....eator.html
It's called DMT, every living thing this chemical in their brain and nobody knows why, when released it causes the host to hallucinate. It usually only deploys during birth and during death.

WHAT U KNOW ABOUT DMT!?
dimethyltryptamine is a seratonin analog. as is typical of indole alkaloids, tryptophan is the precursor for dmt synthesis, in this case by replacing the carboxylate group on the amino side chain with two methyl groups, hence dimethyl-. the metabolic sequence of dmt synthesis is not well understood.
in addition to birth and death, it has been theorized that dmt plays a role in dreaming, near-death experiences, religious visions and such. if youve ever heard of ayahuasca [brewed by certain shamanistic tribes in south america], dmt is the main psychoactive constituent.
dmt is illegal in the united states. schedule i.
i suspect that all esham knows about it, is that he smoked a few milligrams and it blew his mind apart.

Wow you sound like u know alot about the gospel . U a christian? I agree with you on the TrUE christian point though.
On a different note: Who would have thought ICP would spark a conversation about God, eternity, life and death? I think this was the point of the MDP in the first place. Dang I dig them even more now.

I''ve seen people go on spiritual ayahuasca trips in peru! They all seem to have a very simular experience…
I believe in a higher power, but I believe that we are all a part of that! There's no right or wrong way to believe, we'll all find out the truth soon enough!
It's good to see some deeper thought provoking discussions on here anyway. My opinions and beliefs will always evolve with any new information I find...
I'm not going to stick to just one source of information and consider it gospel, but if that works for you that's fine.

I like this song though, and I think people are being fucking idiots when they compare that shit to Miracles. They said the same shit about Ghetto Rainbows. It's like, really think this is going to be the new version of Miracles? Do they even make any line in here nearly as dumb as the magnets shit? Do you even know why Miracles was made fun of? It was because the magnets line was fucking stupid and the way they presented it, "Pure motherfucking magic". I'm consistently debating that the vocabulary somebody uses doesn't define the content of their message, but even I found the vocabulary in this song to be a bit much for the content. It's like they tried to recreate the brilliance of Fly Away or Nothing's Left but sprinkled it with more ridiculous examples and the frequent use of the 'fuck' word. Not only that, but the stereotypical Hip Hop rhythm they used when rhyming it, sounds like one of the music videos from the Bill Nye the science guy's films, except they were dissing science.
Point is, this song is not even close to being as ridiculous as Miracles, in fact I think I read a review where they praised this song and said that it was a much more mature comeback to Miracles. People are just being paranoid about what others think.

wait where in this thread does anyone reference miracles? am i missing something? homie you seem more hung up on that magnet line than anyone and thats saying something. icp always has had "stupid" lyrics. since day one. because life is absurd sometimes. did you sweat the what is a juggalo connect four reference? no, because SOCIETY didn't sweat you about connect four. dont blame icp for your insecurites. a magnet is fuckin magic. it sticks to other magnets and shit.

Of all the things I'm insecure about, that one lyric is not one of those things, in fact nobody has ever "sweat" me about that lyric. You obviously don't get the context of what I was saying and I obviously didn't make it clear enough. Either way, you again jumped to a conclusion. This time it is that I was projecting my insecurities out on ICP for that one song when in reality I just don't like that song and found it ridiculous. If I was worried about what society thought about me liking this song I would be worried about it becoming a music video. Hell, I wouldn't even be a juggalo.
Maybe, just maybe (since you like to assume things about people's characters I will too) you liked the song so much that you just got mad when I said I didn't like it. I guess I forget to put IMO.

I seem to be one of the few people that actually like Miracles. I think it was an incredibly brave song to release in such cynical, spiritually deprived times and I don't believe ICP ever thought the attention, and hate, would snowball like it did.
What is laughable is how ICP were immediately labelled a 'Christian rap group' for releasing a song that spoke of God with a greater reverence than that given to Science. I am not opposed to Science; in fact I have just completed a degree in Biology and Ecology. This course attracted me because of the deep resonance and respect I have with the natural world. This song struck a chord with me because I ultimately found that the further I understood the natural world scientifically, the more my wonder at it decreased. The more life was separated into atoms, molecules, cells, proteins, enzymes and genetic evolution the more my connection became forced, learned or remembered rather than intuitive, instinctive and spontaneous.
I am not criticising science here; I understand the profound positive changes that natural science has enabled in the world of conservation but I am ever mindful that it is the disassociation from the naturally harmonious life of many vernacular, tribal cultures that evolved to a re-placing of faith in technology and science that brought about the environmental problems in the first place.
It is a grievous mistake on the part of the 'oh so educated' average internet user to label anyone who questions absolute faith in science as ignorant. These questions are actually far from new; the work of Edmund Husserl in the early 1900's proposed a new type of science called 'phenomenology' which championed the subjective experience of the individual over the objective theories of science, arguing that the objective could never be truly experienced by the individual owing to the manner in which we experience reality. The daily experience of a human is experienced through a 'lens' of our socio-economic upbringing and science must therefore generalise our overall experience and becomes subsequently inaccurate. Husserl argued that science seeks a fixed blueprint of the world but the world is not fixed at all...rather constantly in transition and flux.
I prefer to look at some things as miracles because they genuinely are- scientifically or otherwise and I don't believe it to be ignorance to put faith in my own experience over these mysterious scientists championed in often dubious publications.
