So I’m from upstate NY. I had this dude build us a computer.
Back around the early 2000’s I moved to North Carolina.
The computer’s internal modem was fried in a lightning storm.
So the PC can never again hold an internet connection.
I use the machine as a jukebox of sorts.
I’ve brought it all over the country. It’s like the grounding product of my travels.
I add and rip different CDs to it throughout the years.
So lets just say that I currently have about 3000 songs on it.
Yall were taking about “Let it Rain”.
I must’ve added that a few years back.
Anyway.. just now… out of nowhere….
The song just played.
Randomly.

I’ve always looked at The Wicked Shit as a part of the grand artistic tradition known as Momento Mori. J himself alludes to this in “Play My Song”. On the subject of songs, this empathetic dirge for the condemned is a sober construction where the tongue is set completely outside of the cheek. The result is a soulful rumination on the mercy of death overtaking the suffering entailed in the act of dying itself, while touching on the voyeuristic aspect to which any student of horror is ultimately guilty.
Speaking from the perspective of the observer lends it a certain earnestness, an enchewing of the self-centric “Woe is me” attitude typified in some of the more ‘Emo’ songs that might share in this dichotomy. With so many layers to such a thoughtfully built song, I personally consider it one of the very rare masterworks that elevate an other wise flooded genre. Leave it to Lotus to accomplish such a thing.

Yeah anything goes in this thread even if it’s not Psychopathic or MNE. It was very late at night when I made this thread and I didn’t really bother to think about the correct section for it to go in.
I totally agree LDLHA IBCSYWA is brilliant. Twiztid is still the shit regardless of how disappointed I was to hear some of the shit they said when they were secretly recorded at a meet and great but that’s totally besides the point of this thread.
Same goes for Young Wicked for example his track Scars to me is awesome.

my hit home is Madrox’s verse on “Listen” from CC3 reminds me of my last relationship going on 5years ago now with the mother of my child. Whom I had a 7 year relationship with than an amicable 3 yr friendship after(10 yrs total) where we didn’t see anyone and worked on being good co parents. Long story short she eventually moved on as she should but it stung badly I spiraled out of control drinking myself into an oblivion which led to my legal situation(which is why I don’t partake in recreation with y’all at GOTJ) forgive me for going all EMO on yall
