I was just looking back at ICP's catalog and realized the 1st 5 Jokers Cards ALL had dope double intros, with a buildup track and song.. technically the 6th did as well with "walking into the light/darkness", however those were more-so introductions to the theme and tone of the projects.. where-as the intro song for the other 5 were essentially theme songs/entrance music for the Jokers Card itself, haha.. so which one had the best intro/build up?? which song gets you more hype? and which is the best combo??
i think right off the bat i can say riddlebox is my least fav theme.. its dope for the album, like jake/jack but it cant compete with c.o.c. and milenko..
the build up for Wax Museum is amazing.. i think the 1st 2 Cards compete for best combo..
what yall think?? this doesnt really include the new deck cuz it seems they all have a jumpsteady buildup with a traditional song for the intro song(verses/chorus).. minus BPB, which ended on it.. should they go back to the themes?? carnival of carnage was so good i can see why they would want to rap over all of 'em now, haha..

Jeckel Bros is my personal favorite. When the vibe shifts after the dude reveals he is a piece of shit, lol. "I've got electricity at my house," haha!
This is one of those impossible questions. The first 5 all blew me away. Sadly, the sixth wasn't the sixth. I remember anticipating it and imagining some glorious earth enveloping monstrosity. In any case, Shangri and Hell's Pit could've been incredible if they had Mike E Clark involved as usual. Biggest blunder of ICP's career IMO.

1: 'the great milenko', the great milenko
2: 'intro', the mighty death pop
3: 'wax museum', the ringmaster
4: 'jake jeckel'/'jack jeckel', the amazing jeckel brothers
i consider bang pow boom to be a title track, but not an intro [ringmasters word, as well]... but it would otherwise be just above the jeckels.

I feel the same way the sixth should of been the end of jokers cards. I always thought it would of been fresher if the "new deck" weren't jokers cards but they were something like entities inside of the carnival. Like the carnival is coming around again and here are the new sideshows or creature. You know what im saying. I think when the 2nd 6th comes again it should just be the wraith out back out and toured again. Another year of beaming im so fucking down. The wraith is in my mind the best work they have ever done and will ever do. You cant fuck with the OG 6th. It was pure fucking magic.
Side note my math question to submit this was 5+1 which equals the almighty 6th hahah

#1. Milenko- Two words: Alice Cooper
#2. Jeckel- Just pure brilliant ICP style.
#3. Shangri-La- Intro makes me cry 7 times out of 10. It's amazing and meaningful.
#4. Bang Pow Boom- HEED THESE WORDS OF WARNING! They unlock the secrets of the 2nd deck...
#5. Carnival of Carnage- Fucking classic canrival tones.
#6. Ringmaster- Fucking awesome, it does go on a bit too long though.
#7. Death Pop- One of my favorite ICP intro songs, but something is up with the production. Music comes in much too quiet to be listed at the top.
#8. Riddle box- Great when you first hear it, but it gets old truthfully.
#9. Missing link lost- Irrie, dark, wicked and uses vinyl crackle with the song from the movie Necromantix. Shit... maybe this should be higher.
#10. Hells pit- No complaints, it's just not as good as most of em.
#11. Missing Link Found- Love the calm massage therapy mood music, not a fan of the narration really.

No way, Shangri-La is without a doubt their best album ever and Zug Izland/Mike P did excellent work. ICP needed to grow as artist and bring something unique to the sixth, and they fucking succeeded.
They already stated that the 6th of the 2nd deck will be Shangri-La and Hell's Pit as well. You just may get your wish for a Mike Clark 6th Jokers Card. I personally think it would be cool if they revealed his face instead of think up a new character.
Many hate the 2nd deck, but I think it's going fucking great so far. Setting nostalgia aside, you could easily make an argument that BPB, MDP and MML are better than the original 3. Go ahead people, attack me, but it's true. The new 3 cards represent Juggalos better than the OG 3 and have a lot of amazing songs. There is a lot of misguided ignorant hate in their early days up till Riddlebox that they would never do now. Especially COC. Blacken Your Eyes for example, a song where they celebrate beating women in a realistic context.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the early shit to death and suggest more new Juggalos give it the same playtime, but the new set of cards deserve the same respect. What about when the worlds like fuck us kill us, what will ya be? What about when we continue our message through a second deck of jokers cards, what will ya be?
Let's not forget, there are thousand of types of card decks out there. It's okay for ICP to have two.

Well said. However, I submit that Bang Pow Boom and Riddlebox are two sides of the same coin. They're thematically similar albums, so much so that I consider BPB to be Riddlebox's spiritual sequel. Many of the tracks on Riddlebox have an arguable counterpart on Bang Pow Boom:
Riddlebox ~> Beautiful Doom/Freaky Creep Show/The Clowns Are Back (Dark Carnival tonesetter introducing the clowns)
The Show Must Go On ~> In Yo Face (Up Tempo, bouncy carny sound carrying the album into its next stages)
Chicken Huntin' ~> To Catch a Predator (raprock anthem about killing undesirable people from a position of moral authority)
Headless Boogie ~> Zombie Slide (Dance number about deadfolx)
Cemetery Girl ~> Vera Lee (tonally very different, but both songs about misunderstood love with a particular dead girl)
Lil Sumthin Sumthin ~> Boing Boing (dis bout fukkin)
Dead Body Man ~> I Found a Body (Both songs deal with the idea of corpses as companions.)
This is where the direct comparisons end, but the themes persist. Ol' Evil Eye and Fonz Pond are both straightforward horror tales. The idea of evil people facing retribution for their actions (which is, to be fair, is standard fare for a Joker's Card) is touched upon in Joker's Wild and 12, as much as it is in Imma Kill U and Vultures.
I'm not saying BPB is a rehash of Riddlebox. The overall tone of the two albums are different. One winds down while the other builds to a pyrotechnic finish, for example. There's also no equivocal song to Miracles or Juggalo Island. But I am saying that the two are cousins thematically speaking. So to say that the first three of the second deck surpasses the original three of the first deck seems a bit skewed in my eyes, when you consider that the latter deck begins with the skeleton of a card that came before it.

Well, opinions are like assholes.
I can put on any of the first 5 cards and play the shit out of it.
The Sixth gets some love from me but is no where near the quality of the first 5. To suggest Shangri-La is their best work sounds like an insult to them as far as I'm concerned.
Mike P is mediocre.
Mike E is a god damn LEGEND!
If The Sixth is their best work then why did it need a double remix album to come out shortly after its release? Had they done that to any other albums prior? No. Why not? Because the first 5 are masterpieces as well as the EP's. Why? Mike E Clark, that's why.

did you listen to the remix albums?? neither one's better than the original regardless of mike e's contributions(which definitely had its misses).. it sounded much more like a nod/shout out to their music friends than "the way the were supposed to sound"..
