Black Rain, no question. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all dope as hell, but Black Rain front to back is just gritty Lotus at their best.

Tales from the Lotus Pod…without ABK…there is no other answer.

Opaque Brotherhood for me because they finally sounded like a cohesive unit. All on the same page. Plus when it came out it brought back the excitement of being a Juggalo again after a disappointing era post Hell’s Pit.

On a side note I got the Mars version of TFTLP when it came out so I find it hard to listen to the ABK version cause I was so used to the other one.

They’re all fantastic, but Opaque Brotherhood just takes it to another level for me. Songs like Backwords, Heinous, Falling and Keep Up are just incredible. And Withered is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard across all genres. A profoundly amazing album, to me.

Compared to the Marz version…ABK sounds like a cacophony of jibberish…im just saying…

First time my knife touched skin
And the red blood started flowing so quick I just couldn’t quit
Kept stabbing until everything that I seen was red
The pillow, the blankets, the walls, and even the bed
One color dominating everything like contemporary art
Am I the killer or artist with bloody heart?
Then I curled into a ball in the corner of the room
Feeling like a creep in the light of the moon.

TFTLP, the original with Marz. With the hype it had in AJB and other album booklets and the mystery behind it I was more than pleased with the finished product, and Ryden Dirtay came out the same day so I picked up both.
