One face of the Dark Carnival from either deck to represent you.

💀🎡💀

Mine is easily The Amazing Jeckel Bros. 🔥 ICP & Mike E. Clark were in their prime (imo) with record company money to burn. Live show theatrics and elaborate stage set ups were also at a peak.

Carnage. I’ve lived it every day as long as I can remember, & feel lucky for the lesson. Although I love lots of Psy’s music from lots of other Joker Cards & albums, the raw content of COC will always be my home.

I feel like the first versus the fifth is like them shooting a sawed off shotgun versus a sniper rifle. Both deadly but one is a little messier than the other. You can look at both albums and see similarities though. ‘First Day Out’ and ‘I Want My Shit” or “Rebel Flag” and “Terrible.” Jeckel had a production level that could give you chills. Beats were masterpieces and content was cutting edge controversial.

The Wraith: Shangri-La. I believe somewhere on this forum a few years ago I stated why this will always be my favorite Joker’s Card. I was 16 years old, I had friends (Juggalo Homies for real) we were smoking weed almost everyday, I had my fresh as fuck red and black Wraith hockey jersey that I wore almost everyday during that time, and the Wraith had just come out. It was an unbelievable time for me, a time that remains undefeated in my memories. No other time period has come close to what that was for me.

I remember sparking a bowl out in my buddy’s garage while he had The Wraith playing on his dads CD player. It was a bright sunny afternoon but it was like January and cold as fuck outside, so the smell of weed stuck to our clothes. I remember “Blaaam” was playing and I looked out the garage door and the snow was just so fucking shiny. Of course , the sun was out, and that’s what made the snow shiny, but I was high, so I wasn’t perceiving it that way. I thought I was looking at Shangri-La on earth or something. It was a crazy time. Crazy in a good way.

I realized my Juggaloism during the Great Milenko era. First time I saw ICP was on WWF Raw Is War sometime in 1998 I think. I was probably 12 or 13.

Riddlebox comes to mind for quality but The Wraith: Shangri La wins out. It was at a horrible time in my life, actually. Was living on that one room shithole where I had to share a bathroom and kitchen with scumbag strangers. But I had a car, and that’s important. That Shangri album helped take my mind off of things. Like mice chewing my hair at night.

Dude, no lie: I was just eating a Quesarito from Taco Bell on the way home and I kept thinking of that skit. Weird.

The great milenko is icp at their best. The greatest album they have and will ever release. Plus that’s the time frame I became a Juggalo.

However my choice would be riddlebox. I love everything about that album. The artwork, production, lyrics, concepts. I remember finding a copy early 98 in a record store and being so excited. All I’d heard at that point was milenko. In fact my brother and I were short a dollar to buy it so they held it for us. We walked all the way home grabbed a dollar and then my mom made us wait till the next day to go back and grab it. We were devastated. Luckily it was still waiting for us and that officially marked the day I was down for life.

Picking a favorite is difficult. Dont know how yall do it. Some of you have top 5 in order. Its like picking a favorite kid, and i dont have kids. The second deck has been great so far but my pick would come from the first deck for sure. Probably from having been more used to them. Im with a few of you that my favorite will prob change over time.

Least faves so far are Hells Pit and Fearless Fred.

Yeah bitches, im that short gentleman mentioned in that youtube video.

And the very nice, level headed guy from that other youtube video.

For me it’s always been Ringmaster. It has that old school sound, but is a little more refined than CoC (which I love, too).
But they still hadn’t mastered their craft, which is often a good thing because it means they were still experimenting, instead of doing a song in certain way because that’s how you do a good song (not saying they aren’t experimenting anymore, but it’s always different in the beginning – more raw.. whatever the fuck that means).

Bugz On My Nutz is like one of their funkiest tracks. And it has these weird little songs like Get Off Me Dog, The Dead One, and For The Maggots, which have always been so creative to me and unmatched in their catalogue.

I don’t know if I really have a favorite ICP song, but if I had to pick one, I’d pick Southwest Song. The beat and the delivery is just so eerie and I can’t get enough of that fucking hook. Still.
(Edit: btw, does anybody know whether that thing in the beginning is a sample from a movie or something? Or it it an original recording? I’m talking about the “good people sometimes think bad things..good people dream bad things…” bit)

Also, the design is my favorite Joker’s Card design, hands down. It might even be my favorite album cover in general. I’d have to think about that one, but it’s a damn good contender.

I own this type of t-shirt pictured above, and it’s my favorite T-Shirt design, too. It has a really satisfying gold color (none of that overly bright yellow shit, that they sometimes use for the Ringmaster) and the lettering on the back looks like a fucked up scoliosis spine lol.

I noticed that Adam22 was wearing the same shirt during the No Jumper interview. So that was cool. One thing that’s kinda annoying about the shirt is that the design in the front is always a little crooked (most noticeable on the ICP lettering on the bottom). And the material sucks ass. I can’t wear it anymore for more than 2 hours or so, because it starts smelling really bad if I sweat in it even a little bit. Anyway, still my favorite shirt, just wish I could get this print on a higher quality shirt (but that goes for pretty much all of my Psychopathic merch now).

Welp, sorry for rambling about my favorite shirt, but yeah, Ringmaster’s my favorite.

Looks like two completely different shirts. The one on the top looks like a short sleeve, and the one on the bottom looks like a long sleeve.

Cool insight as in to why Ringmaster is your favorite though ninja.

Riddlebox, no question. I will defend it as such:

– Perfect blend of ICP’s underground sound and polished production. Still raw, and a bit similar to Wu Tang (not Dre) in terms of beats and levels. Everything up to this was too lo fi. The album after this had Slash on it lol. ICP in their peak prime.

– From the above, has songs exclusively for Juggalos AND some casual fan hits. Milenko and AJB were too polished, while Ringmaster was too niche. You can actually spin a few tracks from this along with any other rap from that era. Lil Something Something is 10000x better than Neden Game, btw.

– Themes all over the board, but they ALL follow the Riddlebox idea. Milkeno made a very brief appearance before dipping and the AJB was more of a two sided album gimmick and less of a character(s). The riddlebox actually makes appearances, theme wise, on every track here. “Joke’s on you” theme applies to every track. Be a bigot? Get chopped. Move away? Realize ur gutter hometown is the shit. Legs don’t bend back so far? Mr. Jackson can fix that.

– First time ICP calls themselves Juggalos.

– Layered variety. While Riddlebox has scary, funny and “regular” songs, other albums feel too focused on the type of song (L&F, Wraith, etc.). Bang Pow Boom was similar, but far too poppy to be the best card. Most songs on Riddlebox have a story, and they even sample Edgar A. Poe to show homage.

– Coolest cover, as it’s the only full-body version of a joker’s card (edit: aside from the wraith)

– Hate it or love it, the Slaughterhouse remix of Chicken Huntin is ICP’s biggest hit, for casual fans and Juggs alike. Before you act like you’re sick of the song, look at the live show videos.

– Only card besides BPB w no guest spots. Counting the second deck’s bonus albums and the fact that L&F had Young Wicked all over it to make this legit, but as BPB is, in retrospect, the closest thing to Riddlebox (eerily so…same song subjects, same energy, odd), this echoes my point that guest spots on ICP songs usually water em down.

– Purple and green look dope.

Yeah that and throwing burning bags of feces through his window he’s not to happy about. But really deaths right behind me. So that card, and the whole mythology behind it, means something. They all do really in their own way but the Grim Reapers my shadow.

Thanks. Yeah, they are different shirts. I didn’t take the pictures myself, just searched google for good pictures and yesterday this was the best I could find. The second one is the long sleeve version but the short sleeve has the same print on the back.

I dunno that I’m capable picking one at this moment. Sooo

I’ll narrow it down to

Milenko

FFF

Before FFF I was was between Milenko and Riddlebox.

Mid to late 90s were FUCKING INSANE for me. The spirits of the dark carnival walked with me through them…

U Gnome sayin…

FFF is crisp to me. Just a cluster of Fucc that makes me lose my shit. I love it.

Honestly jeckel brothers was the last card I felt… Held like a spirit entity? Until now.

The wraith represented death to me…

Because

Strangely, Shangri la reminds me of time I took for granted roaming around, committing crime, smokin crank and fuccin bitches…

And a hand full of people I loved dying.

Hells pit  was HOT  HOMELESS AND ALONE

But I still love it.

I’m not really into bpb. Just kinda blah to me.

Mighty death pop holds up, just kinda fell a lil bit short of… Magic.

Missing link… There ok. To me one pushes + one pushes –

…Fite me…

… And who the fucc knew they made Pussy wigs???

Fuccin merkins!!!
