oh I like a lot of the new stuff, I also dislike a lot of the new stuff ( i got in on ringmaster) and my comment wasnt so much to say that each group only likes the stuff from their era, just that you can usually tell who started listening when based on their top 10
Ditto on getting in at Ringmaster, and also agree that you can group fans based on their favorites… But “top 10”? There’s no goddamn way whatsoever that I could put together a top 10. Every five minutes I’d change my mind and go “Wait, no, I forgot about such-and-such, that’s at #8…” or something.

Yeah im with you on that, I could barely pull a top 40 outa my ass at any given time. I guess what i was saying was in general, if someone says juggalo island and ghetto rainbows are 2 of their favorite ICP songs, chances are they became fans after the 6th, and if someone says their favorite songs are from CDs from COC to milenko, they have been fans since before the 6th
this is not scientific by any means but if I had to bet on it, Id take that bet and win 9 times outa 10

My wife took on the whole “How magnets work” when she took Advanced Electromagnetic Fields in college. It seems we can describe all of the effects of magnets and we know why those effect result from certain material arrangements BUT we do not know how the effect of magnetism manifested as what it is and not some other type of effect. In fact, even at the forefront of physics, we can only describe the observable effects of anything and not how or why that particular effect exhibits the properties it has. This is at the fundamental level. If you accept the fundamentals “as is” then you can go on to say how magnets work but you are basing that on fundamentals that still have not been defined in the sense of “Why does that fundamental force result in this particular effect and not some other effect instead?”So people who claim to “know” how magnets work are really only telling you that they have the ability to describe it’s effects. If you keep pushing them on the “Why” then it becomes clear that they are as clueless as we (juggalos) are about magnets.
A good explanation of magnets is this video from YouTube – Here. But if you go to 1:47 in the video he says that in the end while they can explain all the effects of magnets, NO ONE KNOWS why at the fundamental level they have the properties they do.
So Shaggy is really smart in questioning magnets and any scientist that claims to know is lying to themselves.

@psyral-infections diatribe
Spot on! The point of the song ‘miracles’ is only asking why not how. Why is a philosophical question that doesnt have a definitive concrete answer.
To them, these phenomena and little moments are miracles of god and they are tryna explain in their way that there are questions that science cant answer.
The song itself is lame as fuck if you ask me. I dont turn to icp when im tryna blaze and open up that third eye waxing (pseudo)intellectual.

Funny that so many songs that people keep saying are songs that I love! Ghetto Rainbows, Juggalo Island, Miracles, Little Yellow Bus…all songs that I never skip when they come on.
Songs that I legitimately skip when they come up in a shuffle:
Everything from Carnival of Carnage except First Day Out and Night of the Axe (sorry, just not feeling this album)
Bugz on my Nugz
Ringmaster’s Word
I Stab People
The Shaggy Show
Fearless
Radio Stars
My Axe
If
Wind Me Up
Angels Falling
Play My Song
The Bone
I Found a Body
Vultures
Those are probably the ones that I really almost never listen to. Not that they’re totally awful, but I’m just not feeling them.

out of curiosity, when did you starft listening to ICP? Ive noticed a clear difference between juggalos from the 6th era and the juggalos since the 6th era.
pre hells pit juggalos tend to hate the happy go lucky songs like juggalo island and ghetto rainbows, and family era juggalos tend to love that shit.
I actually think there are 3 generations of juggalos
the OG juggalos (COC – milenko)
the Milenko Juggalos – (Milenko to hells pit)
Family Juggalos – (Tempest – current)

I came in in 2010, so I already knew what newer ICP music sounded like and liked it. I’ve been a fan of other bands who have changed their sound over the course of time and disliked their new stuff, so I get what you’re saying.

I like people’s generational break downs. I also use a clothing/accessory division of eras. For some reason *pants have really changed. lol Starting out with the Jnco/tshirt years and ending with the jersey/long shorts kinda thing goin’ on. :P

Not going to lie, I love everything they made until the tempest. I didnt mind “Bitch i lied” and “The tower” but it was the first ICP cd i couldn’t deal with listening to on repeat. Iv been nothing but disappointed since. I just cant get into any of the new sheit..
Overall least favorite would be – Juggalo island or magnets(Miracles)

Haha, you hit the nail right on the head once again! I had to go out and buy a new goddamn pair of JNCO’s every freakin’ week because my parents kept throwing away what they called my “clown pants”.
