The Dead One is one of my favorite evil clown tracks ever… I even have a funny story of it in another thread involving a human head on a bird during a dream. But I understand how it can seem to slow down the album, but it’s great to me.
ive had similar experiences, so have other juggalos ive talked to about it. i think there is something genuinely hypnotic about that track.
maybe ltb just needs to listen to it when hes right on the edge of falling alseep.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

If, Ghetto Rainbows, Juggalo Island, Miracles, Tonight, Hold Still. Those are probably the worst offenders.
Also, Get Geeked, Where’s God, Love, Fonz Pond, Chop Chop Slide, Supernatural, The Perfect Night, Deadbeat Moms, We’ll Be Alright, Clown Walk, STAAAAAAAAALE!!!, Confessions, Manic Depressive…
My LTB moment, i.e. one everyone thinks is classic, and I dislike, ala The Dead One, is In The HAUGHHH. Never got the appeal.

Well, why are people hating on it? It’s not their shit, it’s them making fun of someone else’s!
I thought that track was funny as hell.
Parody does not automatically exempt a track from being shit.
For example, I love Weird Al, but I can’t listen to “My Bologna.” Because it sounds like “My Sharona,” and I loathe “My Sharona.”

Alley Rat (I dislike most of the tempest but holy shit…)
Also, Hum Drum Boogie
Panties or whatever that song is called.
Never really liked Clown Walk
Miracles was decent as a song but the video fucked it up
The Bone
Nevery really liked for the maggots.
I’m sure there are more…
I like the remix of Ghetto rainbows, but the legs diamond chorus is horrible lol

hypnotic = perfect word to describe it. The clowns and Mike Clark were truly in touch with their insanity back then. If the internet were never invented, they would to this day still seem like they were truly crazy individuals.

I didn’t like Juggalo Island til I heard this:
All of a sudden I’m picturing Samus from Metroid with clown paint… What.. The.. Shit.. lol. And, for the record, I actually agree with you regarding the sexually explicit songs – mostly because my kid and I are typically listening together, and it just makes it a little odd. Glad I’m not the only one that feels that way, it always struck me as weird too considering the other subject matter in the songs that I accept without batting an eye.
Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any songs from the main releases (excluding the FF’s, etc) that I’d skip because I hate the song that much – if I skip one, it’s usually because I’m looking forward to a different one specifically. But, on the whole, I consider all the songs listenable, at the very least.

I don’t know nuthin’ bout nuthin’ but some of the tracks brought up above aren’t even really “songs”. They’re tone tracks to set the mood and others are just straight up parodies or just for fun. Admittedly they are very skippable or upbeat mood killers… but not songs. Miracles is a “song”. Dead One is not. Some are just troll bait for the haters to get hooked up on while the wicked shit’s going on elsewhere.
Stay positive people. If there wasn’t stuff you didn’t like so much, you wouldn’t know why you loved the rest…

What sexually explicit songs has ICP done that wasn’t comical?Well, they all got a line here or there that’s comedy. I’m talking about the ones that explicitly describe a certain sexual act. Whether it’s tonguing something, or fingering something, or where they’re putting what. Or about a girl stroking, sucking, rubbing or something like that.
I scoop that loop and fold the flop then I fuck that pile o shit, my kind of bitch

So…”The Dead One” isn’t a song, and ICP do bad tracks on purpose…as troll bait?
They’ve made bad songs. That isn’t a bad thing, failure is a completely ordinary part of the creative process. Hell, it could be argued that lack of failure is a sign of lack of talent. Neitzsche stated as much, as I recall. I don’t think there’s any need to try to cover that up, make excuses for it, or dress it up in some positive disguise. A spade’s a spade, they’re bad songs. (Subjectively, at least. After all, most of us love “The Dead One,” LTB thinks it’s bad. But for him, it’s still bad.)
