Most ear plugs just drop the decibel level and filter out MOST frequencies, so it ends up sounding really muffled and shitty, but Earasers actually attenuate the frequencies and ONLY lower the decibels so you’re hearing all the frequencies as they’re produced, but the volume is the only thing that changes. I wear them with my band and my hip hop project and it’s seriously the best $40 I’ve ever spent.

Its not surprising the J is using hearing aids, they tour constantly and even infrequent exposure to excessive volume can cause irreversible damage. Headphones, ear buds, can all cause hearing loss. Many live bands have hearing loss, in one of the documentaries James Hetfield from Metallica talks about being almost deaf from the years of playing. Ever since a show about 11 years ago that was so loud, my hearing took days to stabilize, I never go to a show without industrial ear plugs

I joke about Psy making a buck off anything, but I guarantee they could sell ear plugs at the merch booth. The only problem would be the merch booth would actually have to be set up on time…before the music starts.
