So wait, his dumbass has NOT been wearing earplugs or in-ear monitors this whole time? If that’s true then you know what they say, there’s no excuse for stupid. Even my retarded 20 year old ass new to wear ear plugs when I was playing in my band back then at practices and shows.

This. I have Tinnitus from going to shows and only started wearing ear plugs the last few years. Kinda sucks because it doesnt sound as good, but its better than it getting worse lol…

Everyone saying that wearing earplugs to concerts makes it sound like shit SERIOUSLY need to check out Earasers. They’re $40 but they’re worth every fucking penny. Most ear plugs just drop the decibel level and filter out MOST frequencies, so it ends up sounding really muffled and shitty, but Earasers actually attenuate the frequencies and ONLY lower the decibels so you’re hearing all the frequencies as they’re produced, but the volume is the only thing that changes. I wear them with my band and my hip hop project and it’s seriously the best $40 I’ve ever spent.
