Hatchet house was a good idea but I wish I could know the reasons it didn't work besides lack of sales. I guess the hatchet house label just attached itself to Psychopathic instantly. It's a fucking shame cause they could have signed 50 people and only needed a couple to succeed to get paid, based off of fair contracts. There's also the fact that they could possibly fund (i have no idea) independent artists they like without signing them. How would anyone know if they don't open their big mouths first?

the best example is bone thugs, they get ass fucked at every label, why? because they are dogshit as businessmen, if they actually went to a label that made them profitable and released music people liked would it matter that they had someone else telling them what moves to make, could blaze survive on his own? Nope,Can Boondox? Maybe,but i doubt it,Blaze cant even write all his own stuff, “the power of the pen” that is credited on his albums is just madrox,hes getting paid, got fans,and is putting out music,why leave?

Damn straight! I paid to see “Bone Thugs N Harmony” in Halifax months ago and only got Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone. I ain't complaining because they're one of my favorite groups of all time, and Krayzie was always my fav, but I blazed with Krayzie and from what I gathered it was all business reasons why the friendships separated. I didn't want to drill him on it but I sure fucking thought about how stupid it was. …

Bottom line is Twiztid has been offered by other labels to leave and they didn't. And when they tried to do it themselves (Majik), they blew it. I know Tom Dub gets the blame for that but they're the ones who made him their manager. Shows they really didn't know what they were doing when they thought they did.
It makes any beef Twiztid and Blaze have with the label irrelevant. They had their chance and can still leave if they want. And like ICP said at their seminar, even if it's their biggest act (Twiztid), they don't hold anybody hostage at the label. Anybody's free to leave. Maybe when Alex was in charge they did things that way but not anymore. The music industry has changed anyway with the internet. Whoever you're signed with really doesn't mean shit anymore. So whatever's keeping Twiztid to stay must be good enough for them.
It's kinda sad to see ICP and Twiztid separate as much as they have over the years. But business does that to people. Like everything, the truth is somewhere in the middle and I'm sure both sides have their own side of the story. To the best of my memory, Blaze getting the boot back in 2001 ignited their beef. When Blaze got the boot from the label, Twiztid was gonna leave too. Not so coincidentally, Blaze was right back on the label lol. Since then, beef between the two camps has been off and on year after year.
