the collabos between ICP and Esham vocally or production wise during that era 2001-2004 represents what Soopa Vilainz lp should've sounded like.

and meanwhile self inflicted is what the sixth shouldve sounded like…

splitting from mike clark just in time for the sixth was the biggest mistake icp ever made.  not cuz it hurt them, but it deprived us of some incredible music.  particularly regarding the unveiling.

I disagree, MEC is dope, but what Mike P. gave us on the sixth is untouchable. For all we know MEC could have made it sound like Bang Pow Boom… That would've sucked!

on a track by track basis, that wouldve been better for me.

the unveiling was this great epic track wed all been waitin godknowshowlong for.  the music should have been epic.  instead, it sounds like an instrumental of 'hot child in the city.'

mike clark can do epic with his eyes closed.

Don’t feel bad I’ve had a similar omen with my wicked wonka tour shirt….the two times I wore it I got a ticket than arrested second time. Ya it happened cuz of my own bad decisions but the same shirt both times made me say “fuck wearing this shirt”

i loved Mike P's sound on the Wraith (Shangri-La anyways…pretty sure he didn't do Hell's Pit but I could be wrong)…it was different and unique from their usual stuff so it truly had a new sound in honor of it being such a different, epic record…I think Mike E Clark would have done a great job with it as well but Mike P freaked that album IMO

Yes, Mike P. did both Wraith albums. Shangri-La and Hell's Pit.

while we're on the subject of the Wraith what did y'all think of the remix album versions?…IMO there were a few really good remixes that actually sounded as good/better then the original but most were just random and didn't do much for me

Hells Pit remix album >>>> Shangri-La remix album

honestly i liked the remix of Manic Depressive better than the original…also I'd say In My Room is about even as a remix with the original…totally different feel to it though..also liked Walk Into The Darkness and The Witch remixes

I didn't really like the remix albums. Some songs were cool, but I prefer the originals.

Shangri-La sounds perfect in every way to me it wouldn’t have been the same if it was MEC producing imo

I dont think it matters who produced, all that matters is the lyrics and the direction they wanted to go wit da almighty 6th jokers card.

Yea that’s bs. I would take MP over MEC anyday of the week on the 6th. MEC’s production has been weak since coming back to psy.

I haven’t listened to the 6th in prolly a decade, but I did absolutely love the re-mix albums! (Hell’s Pit more) And I have always been a fan of Mike P’s production so I think he schooled the fuck outta The Wraith.  What a great era that was!!!
