Damn I remember like 75% of juggalos hating on Shangri-La back when it came out. I fuckin loved it and still do. I guess it needed time to test its mark... as much as MEC is legendary, I believe that MP was meant to produce that album. I don't like many of the remixed tracks either. The Witch, 24, Manic Depression, those are good remixes I guess. But Shangri-La was already in top form.

If MEC was to produce it when it was origianlly made instead of MP, I think it would of sounded different than what u here with MEC's remixes.  I think they just sound that way cuz they are remixes.

Yeah it easily could've blown MPs out ta the water, but we'll never be sure. I was just saying that I didn't care for the remix albums, not just the MEC ones. MEC would've done great on both Wraiths, but MP definitely handled Shangri LA well. The weird fuxker even won anaward ffor "most adventurous mix" or something for it.

I think the wraith albums are perfect as is...Both of em at the top of their game. I thought Mike P's production was a breath of fresh air. Of course, the wraith was the first icp release that I got to anticipate coming out, so my opinion is heavily biased...Very good period of my life

I feel ya there.. lived in a one room apt with a shared kitchen bathroom with drunks and transvestite strangers inthe building. If it wasn't for those albums I dunno... washing dishes at a chicken shack with fuckfaces for 5.45 an hour... a lil happy friendly murder music was quite essential

esham made a lot of hells pit beats that were dope - I don't get why his beats now are horrible with bad quality

ICP took me through most of my teen years with the joker cards. i loved shangrila and hells pit, they still get played all the time.

if you go listen to eshams early shit all the way to his stuff now, its like watching a child prodigy grow into an old toothless crack junkie sucking cock for chump change for a fix.

i couldnt even sit through one listening of his last album, it was horrifying. and not in a good way.

Yeah Esham still has that potential somewhere. All the subliminal disses got to be annoying. The PSY albums were good, especially A-1 I feel. Ah well, there's always Mastamind. TNT has his moments but mostly nah. Better as hype man.

I dont think esham could make a comeback from the hole he dug for himself. And from what i heard he was quitting the game apparently, but doesnt everyone do that nowadays?

Esham will probably be a more behind the scenes kind of guy and try to develop more artists. Dude had a great run but always thought he was better then he was. If he was really that great he would of "made it".
