Can anyone pinpoint the last time they mention The Dark Carnival in one of their songs? Im thinkin shangri la. Shit just struck me as odd.
Id like to see a concept around the driver of the wagons they used to talk about. I guess they do mention the ringmaster driving in one of their songs but the Dark Carnival saga was never canon so it can be done.it could be a sort of a purgatory between your death and your destination. It would leave the possible song concepts wide open as they could delve into a wide range of topics concerning life and death and everything between.
I just wanna reiterate that I want a dark fucking album chock full of stories. The last two albums have their moments but they just dont fill that need that I have the way twiztid has been.

Reality-based Dark Carnival sponsors such as vajazzling, breast milk alcohol test strips, laser/liquid nitrogen anal bleaching, baby Jesus butt plugs, Perez Hilton, etc., could make a good album commercial or story line.

I know they mention the Dark Carnival in Miracles, and have an image of it in the video. Nothing that I can recall on Mighty Death Pop though.
Thinking about it more, I’d love to see another character as a card, and I’d love to see a female. Bang Pow Boom and Mighty Death Pop are both events (an explosion, and a moment of death). I’d like to see more characters who teach lessons, like the Great Milenko and the Ringmaster. I could see something like a female lion tamer, or acrobat, or two headed lady or something.

Pretty much the entire Bang Pow Boom album centered around the Carnival.
Bang Pow Boom intro: “The Dark Carnival swells with the countless souls”
Vultures: “They’re gonna visit the Carnival grounds, and they gonna parish we promise you now”.
Bang Pow Boom title track: “Welcome to the Dark Carnival super show”.
The Clowns Are Back: “Dark Carnival minions, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope!”.
Miracles: “The Dark Carnival is your invitation”.
Plus, the album has several skits throughout which all mention the carnival.
