All that’s been said is “coming sooner than you think” right? I’ll say that the title/cover gets revealed at Hallowicked, a sort of snippets sample shits early next year, album drops at the Gathering and they start touring it mid September. Thoughts?

I don’t think they did either. With the beat choices on that album I can see why they didn’t. Not that it was good or bad but the vibe of that album is definitely all over the place. Imagine it would be hard to shorten them all up and do the album justice.

Although they did say this one is just going to be a straight record. No bonus albums like Death Pop. I forgot where I heard that, it was some kind of seminar, but they said something like that.

I’d like to see more dark/creepy/horror storytelling like they used to do (In My Room, Mad Professor, Under the Moon, Prom Queen, etc). There was some storytelling on Bang Pow Boom and Mighty Death Pop, but it was more lighthearted (The Blasta, To Catch a Predator, Our Hero)

I think Bang Pow Boom was a good joker card with very little bad moments and songs in it. The mighty death pop on the other hand, did suck. At least 8 songs on the main album were bad, for varying reasons. I just hope it’s closer to bpb only darker. Maybe i’m alone in that opinion.

I think both of em had there moments but each cd had alot of shitty songs mostly the beats.
If you took the good songs from MDP and BPB and made that just the first joker card, then i’d say they started the joker card deck off right. I don’t wanna hear that kjc shit either or trap hi hats. Whoever is doing the album definitely needs to switch up the fucking sounds. Mec uses the synths and shit way too much. And his guitar has been way too soft for years. I liked ajb guitars the most that shit was like in your face smash mouth type shit that had bangin drums. Even PDM had dope beats. MEC needs to start using strings, guitars, pianos, bells, violins, shit like that. The synth shit just ain’t cutting it.

I doubt it’d be Killjoy Club style. Because Killjoy Club is Killjoy Club, ICP is ICP. Kinda like Rydas is different, it’s its own style, Lotus is too. And then you got ICP’s style.

Let’s see… What are the issues facing society today? Maybe it will be something about this “fame whore” culture. There is too much narcissism with people always posting “selfies” and getting reality shows made about them. Then you have the Kardasian type celebrity which are really just famous for being famous. No substance there.
That’s my speculation. I don’t have a name for the Joker, just my prediction of the substance.

The idea that they talk about how narcissism has taken over is pretty viable. With the theme that they’ve set with the last two cards I could see that idea, in jokers card form being an instantaneous flash that makes people see everyone around them for what they really are or something. Like the movie “They Live” but instead of kick ass 80’s shades it’s the new card that makes it happen. Also, yeah, fuck the collabs on it.
