Women who stay with abusers aren’t “not to be trusted”, IMO. Theres a lot of reasons people stay with abusers and a good chunk of it is the psychological shit you go through. The abuser convinces you of two things: if you leave you will pay for it worse than a black eye, and 2. you actually have it good because yeah you gotta put up with abuse but shit it’s better than nothing and without the abuser that’s what you are, nothing.
I was on the recieving end of an abusive relationship for about 10 years or so. It fucks you up in the worst kinds of ways and completely distorts reality. If the story is true, there’s probably more at play on her end than we know.
As for capital e. I woulda paid him something just for coming out and making the night special. Not a lot, mind you, but something. He isn’t really a rapper. he doesn’t have any releases. Doing the show for free doesn’t really benefit him because literally nobody is going to walk out of the venue and buy his albums because they don’t exist. His family probably got in his ear about how he should be making money off of it, so he played chicken and lost. He thought ICP would cave in and they didn’t. Shit, he probably had a paying job that he was going to call in sick for to attend. They could have at least paid him whatever he woulda missed from work.
J’s bit about the news did say that it “involves all of you” so I’m guessing theres a big news update on the gang list thing. Maybe they’re planning on filing a class action suit where we can all cop a couple bucks by the end of it.
And I definitely think J talking about hooking up with chicks is his way of trying to show sugar slam what she’s missing out on which is kinda shitty.

none of this lends itself to trustworthiness. quite the opposite.
if shes willing to roll on herself to gain nothing, shell roll on j for less.

Sometimes pop Psychology is really thought-provoking: “The pathological need to control on the part of the abuser and the pathological need for attention on the part of the victim is a match made in heaven.”
The idea that one cannot ever give away their own power appeals to me, so if someone finds themselves drawn to something unhealthy, that seems to ultimately be their choice and responsibility. James Bond bitchslaps, anyone?

I was in a similar spot as J was with Vicky. Dated this chick recently but she was hung up on her ex who was abusive. She told me all these horrible stories about the dude and I just hope I don’t cross paths with him. I will fuck him up for it. But the chick was just as nutty as the dude was.
bout how i tend to see it.
girls a flake, but guy still has it comin.

I’m saying it’s independent of trust. She’s the victim of a crime, not an accomplice. Part of the crime is psychological torture which makes you unable to defend yourself.

granted. but as the third wheel in the equation, none of that applies to j.
the girl is untrustworthy from the jump, cuz shes steppin out on her man. the domestic violence situation just confirms it. being a willing [or at least, semi-willing] crime victim shouldnt do anything to encourage j to believe that helping her at all is a good idea.
but, again, all that said, if anybody from the area happens to know the guy… think about thumpin him. on gp.
another also… and this really should go without saying…
but this all assumes that j was givin us the straight story, anyway. for all i know, he made the shit up.
i wouldntve thought that… but then people here brought up this idea that its all a scheme to sting sugar. if so, its all yack.
oh. by the way, cheshyr…
im seeing more parallels to dreams of grandeur, than pineapple pizza. like, way more.

@scruffy I had thought of “Dreams of Grandeur” too but that one’s more about a dude trying to turn a ho straight and “Pineapple Pizza” is more about a dude going out with a chick that’s playin’ him and another dude.
I’d bet 50 JuggaloCoins that one of his next sexcapade stories will sound a lot like DoG. EH?! there ya go; “pineapple pizza”? PP? Squirting…? Eh, EH? [wink wink nudge nudge]
Cindy… Vicki… hmmm….

Does anyone else think J should have called the police for the girl? I mean she sends you pictures providing proof that her boyfriend is beating her up and the guy is right there with her. I liked J’s message and everything and found this whole segment of the HH entertaining and unexpected if nothing else, but later on when I thought of it I’m like call the fuckin police dude.whatre the cops gonna do? she insisted on stickin with the shitbag.
j might not have even known where to send em.
besides, the general street mentality is, ‘dont call the cops’. my own version adds, ‘unless you are severely outgunned’.
also, she coulda been [in my mind probably was] fuckin with him. she needed out from under the situation she had got herself into, so she sent him the picture from when she got thumped on last year, or some shit.
biatches that choose to roll with their abusers like that are utterly untrustworthy; so really, the best thing to do, most often, is write them the hell off. sucks for them, but costs you nothing.
You make some good points

Beyond a victim’s perspective, Harvard research may be a path to healing: “Individuals who appraise a traumatic event as a turning point in their life story, a central part of their identity, and a reference point for generating expectations about the future exhibit greater distress. Our results suggest that individuals who appraise a traumatic event as a reference point for their future may be especially at risk for PTSD.” Research suggests that therapy with systematic exposure, rather than avoidance, may truly help. It would appear this might all be an angle, as they say in wrestling. To keep shit interesting, keep eyes on the product.
On another note, assuming this separation is real, it didn’t take J very long to find a new sexual partner. Kind of makes me think that this whole separation thing is about sex. Folks can not help themselves these days. They think they’re ready for marriage and commitment, and then 2 years in, “well, this isn’t for me, I want to be free to fuck other people”. You’re supposed to sew your wild oats before you get married. But marriage seems to be becoming an outdated thing anyways, it means less and less all the time unfortunately in popular culture.
Obviously J and Sugar don’t belong together. They had two kids, and because of that, they thought they’d give the family life a try (big mistake, because that always ends in failure). They obviously didn’t plan on having kids, it was just something that happened, which seems to be a popular occurrence in today’s society. Then you panic. “I’m not ready to be a Dad! I’m not ready to be a Mom! Oh god my whole life is ruined, ahhhh!” That’s where the team forms, and usually never works out.
Life is crazy, isn’t it?

Although they do it every single year, it’s possible that this big announcement at the seminar will actually be a shocker. I doubt it has anything to do witg the FBI, because I feel like somebody somewhere would have mentioned it already (or before then), since most court proceedings are public anyway.
Maybe I’m just hoping for too much, but hopefully the announcement does split some wigs. “Biggest news in juggalo history, no exaggeration” does seem promising. I don’t think we’ll know if its genuine or not, until another interview happens before the GOTJ. Maybe ask and reclarify his statement, and see what his response is.

I’m calling it right now. In the next paragraph he said something about how it’s going to keep Juggalos entertained for the rest of their lives, or something like that.
It’s going to be an app – similar to WWE Network, where all of Psy’s history will be available in digital form. Music for streaming (current and OOP selections), a video section (JCW, Documentary, videos, live DVDs, BMH/BMR etc…) and maybe another category to make it unique and separate from just youtubeing any of what i just mentioned.
They’ve been adding digital downloads to hatchetgear for a while now – it can’t just be so someone can go on and purchase Another Love Song instead of all of AJB.
I’m accepting money bets. Also, it will be riddled with flaws, spelling errors, low bandwith/crashes, and will be a monthly payment installment of …. $9.99 – where autodebit will not work, and you will lose all access.
