I agree with yall, and yes, I do enjoy stroking it PRJ. I understand they wanna focus on ICP as they’ve said a few times, but if that’s the case, tell all the other artists it’s in their best interest to go some place else if they wanna release music. It’s been a year overdue for the Hoodoo record as I’ve said before and something just isn’t right with the amount of time it’s taken for killa’s new release. (Could be on him, could be on PSY.)

Well, Hoodoo just released Crystal Skull 2 years ago, but ABK? It’s been damn near 6 years ago since Psy put out an ABK album! Shapeshifter is way way way way way waaaaaay overdue. How many times have we heard that it’s “almost done”? Come on now. Just put it out already.

The new Herald was pretty stale imo.
Violent J’s dating stories were way too much information for my Juggalo ass.
The amount of detail Joe went into was weird, just seemed like a massive PSYOP on Sugar Slam.
Also thought it was pretty low class that Psychopathic asked Capitol E to come spit his verse off Ringmaster on stage in front of 3000 people, and expected the guy to do it for free.
This wasn’t a charity show, Psychopathic took in 75 grand at the gate (3000 tickets x 25 dollars).
Seems real cheap that they didn’t offer the dude at least a few hundred bucks to show up.

I definitely read it as a “I hope Sugar Slam reads this” but that’s some silly speculation shit.
Who the fuck knows who Capitol E is? Imagine being a complete unknown and then getting to perform infront of 3,000+ people eating at your every word. That’s payment in and of itself to most artists. Sounds like an “old school” cat was trying to… Capitol(E)ize (I regret nothing) and it backfired.

ICP is rich supposedly though.
They should have broke dude off a little cheddar, just to keep shit on the classy side….

If it was someone who brought people in, yeah, for sure. They should absolutely pay him but again, no one cares about him. They paid Esham because people care about Esham and he’s financially worth the investment. Capitol E, most definitely is not worth the investment even if it is just a little off the top. The gain for Capitol E is going from complete unknown to performing infront of a hug crowd. Which is something a lot of artists would kill for. The gain for ICP is…what? Sixty seconds of a guest verse? Like J said, who the fuck was really bummed out that they didn’t get his verse live?

my guess, they probably woulda given him a nice tip, if he had played it cool.
still, doin the shit for free woulda done a lot more for him than whatever he ended up doin instead. thats not a guess.
i thought the more interesting part of the herald was the ‘big news announcement at the gathering’ bit, even though they say the same shit pretty much constantly.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I expect “Juggalos aren’t legally a gang anymore!” or something of the like.

I think they should have cut him something for a verse. Even a 100 dollar bill and McDonalds coupon LOL. I will say I’m curious, how active in rapping has Capital E been recently since 94? J did say he hasn’t really recorded any material.Theres gotta be more to the story. I can imagine this will be an issue definitely if they try to do an Amazing Jeckal Brothers show next year. While Twiztid will show you know Snoop Dogg is gonna want BIG bucks for a small appearance. For what ever he wants minus well give a full set. I have a feeling ICP will probably settle for a Wraith Show seeing itd be easy getting everyone together. Implying Esham is open to doing more shows.
As for Js dating story I almost stopped reading it but it did have a moral and message by the end that some people are controlled in an abusive relationship.
I’m not gonna speculate anymore about Sugar Slam because Id prefer the underground scene have less drama and more music.

Does anyone else think J should have called the police for the girl? I mean she sends you pictures providing proof that her boyfriend is beating her up and the guy is right there with her. I liked J’s message and everything and found this whole segment of the HH entertaining and unexpected if nothing else, but later on when I thought of it I’m like call the fuckin police dude.

whatre the cops gonna do? she insisted on stickin with the shitbag.
j might not have even known where to send em.
besides, the general street mentality is, ‘dont call the cops’. my own version adds, ‘unless you are severely outgunned’.
also, she coulda been [in my mind probably was] fuckin with him. she needed out from under the situation she had got herself into, so she sent him the picture from when she got thumped on last year, or some shit.
biatches that choose to roll with their abusers like that are utterly untrustworthy; so really, the best thing to do, most often, is write them the hell off. sucks for them, but costs you nothing.

I was a little pissed about not hearing that verse, dont think they even played it. Dont know why they just couldnt do it themselves.
well, that woulda been a lil bit silly.
id say they shoulda just let the crowd do it. every single person in attendance had that verse memorized better than capitol e and icp put together, anyway, im sure.
super easy solution. not the greatest, but easy. can do the same for odb and snoop.
And why wait till the gathering for the news, just announce the shit.
ya know, they do this every year.
the why is obvious.
awfully paranoid, arent you?
