great show last night. my buddy and i always purposely show up late so we can skip the openers. got into the pit around 9:40. caught the last 20 mins of P.O.D. then waited 40 mins for ICP to come on. liked the set list a lot. wish there had been more missing link songs though. violent J looked a lot healthier than he did last year at SHOCKFEST in orlando. i liked the dance choreography during dead body man.
was awesome to hear i fucked a cop live and the sexy cops w/ soda guns was hilarious. hit up the merch booth during faygo armageddon and picked up the missing link outtakes CD. excited to listen to that today. been listening to ICP for 20 years and missing link is by far my favorite album since milenko. so i’m looking forward to the outtakes for sure.
with ICP coming to town twice in less than a year, i’m going to assume the riddle box tour next year won’t be coming here. too bad, but was so psyched to hear some missing link songs live that i’d rather see this tour than riddle box tour anyway.
too much crowd surfing last night. was nonstop. between trying not to get kicked in the head by crowd surfers and not get hit in the head by faygo bottles, you really had to be on your toes and alert at all times. makes it tough to focus on the actual performance on stage.

^ Last nights show in Tampa was nuts. Thats the beauty of the smaller venues. I was actually shocked they were playing that place instead of either Jannis or even the St Theater. I was up front in 2nd/3rd row near that stupid ass pole for POD and the clowns and the crowd surfing was insane lol. I didnt expect POD to get that crazy either, but it was fun as hell…
@SeanLaw I saw Riff Raff there and said whats up and he was cool. I saw him walking around and was like do work for FLH cause you look mad familiar lol…
@Dood the only Young Wicked song I remember is that Dope song, but his set was good. Definitely gonna look into his new CD…

one of the wrestling companies i work for runs events at that venue a lot, so i’ve become friends with the owner. he’s been doing a great job of getting bigger shows there. there are a lot of shows ending up at the orpheum that you would expect to end up somewhere bigger. i know i’m biased because i perform at the orpheum so much, but i really think it’s the best venue in tampa for events not big enough for the arena or amphitheatre. love that place.

DJ Paul left everybody murdered. So glad I got to see him live.
Pod…. Not my thing, but the crowd loved them.

Who from faygoluvers was periscoping the shows? They were near me but couldn’t figure out who. Don’t ask why the fuck I was watching periscope there. Pod was was performing.
Interesting… in Philly, Young Wicked went on first before Dope DOD. The crowd was way, way more live for YW, even though there were a lot more people in the venue, and a lot more drinks that had been consumed, by the time Dope DOD took the stage. If they switched the order because of the crowd response to the early shows, that’s pretty harsh for poor Dope DOD.
I don’t get that into listening to their albums but I thought their sets both on the tour and at the Gathering were dope (obviously literally but also figuratively). At both shows though it seemed like there was a small number of people who were really into it, but they just didn’t win over most of the people there. PSY’s obviously been trying to give them a push but it looks like a failure. I don’t really get why, I’d be very interested to hear from anyone here who doesn’t like them.

Youth of the Nation is a good track but I’d be pretty pleased if they performed School of Hard Knocks. I love the instrumentals on that song, could completely remove his vocals and I’d still dig the fuck out of it.

damn, pass me by was part of the show when they talked about cannibal. I wish it was part of the regular set list. Interesting choices though.
