it's my understanding that this record is out of print, and that PSY hasnt been pusing out anymore copies of it.  So my question is for 1, why the hell has this record been out of print for so long on and off WHILE twiztid was still with the label.  and 2, do u think PSY will re-release it to try and get some money off of twiztid's departure or will they let Twiztid reprint it on their new label?

...imagine twiztid doing a Green Book show where they perform the whole album front to back(like ICP with riddle box).

They go back to Harpo's in Detroit (thats where they played back in 03 on the GB tour) and knock it the fuck out the park cool

Technically psychopathic owns the greenbook. Also I still see copies in record stores so there should be plenty of copies floating around. Also it would be hard to do an album front to back with features. Noway they could get icp, tech, esham, e40, bushwick, blaze and abk allto do it.

the people stuck in the past on this forum are ledgendary. always clamouring about how great a such and such reunioun would be, or crossing your fingers that so and so is going to promote some ten year old record. while one off shows and nostalgia are great, even an eyeless cave fish could see that twiztid appear to be focused on moving forward. plus, they have been on record a few times saying that most/many songs don't work live. even on green book tour (1st and 2nd legs) they played what? maybe 4 or 5 green book songs. a lot of the material on that album would not go over live as well as you might think. now, end of days tour was kind of an anomaly, they kind of went there, but that was done to promote a current album. that they were getting paid for. i'm sorry but a green book show doesn't fit these criteria. 1000 to 1 shot.

All im saying is if they do a tour or show on a cd they dont need the guests at the show to do the song. doesnt matter who it is.  if they do a milenko show do you think Slash is gonna show up on stage??? maybe cause Slash isnt real, hes like the easter bunny or the tooth fairy. or ALice Cooper comes pon stage and does the intro?

if so, i suggest purchasing em to resell em..."green book" has been outta print for a minute and brand new copies go for a good penny above the regular retail.

i also wonder why/how they let this album go by the wayside...basically forgotten about like it isnt one of not only twiztid's but psychopathic's best releases ever.

i have the same curiosity about "tales from the lotus pod"...that album is probably even rarer brand new than the green book

I picked up my copy at last years gathering, and it was the reprint. They took out the fresh ass , clear film that has jamie and pauls painted faces on them. And i still see them on sale at all the shows i go to. So you can still buy them, your just not getting the super fresh origional version off the CD art.

Ya ninja much like Freek Show this record was put out by Psychopathic/Island, so every time they have to do a reprint they have to deal with Island to do it. ICP have stated even recently Island are bitches to deal with. Probably not that profitable for them to reprint their Island shit compared to shit PSY owns completely. That's why you rarely see any of Twiztid's Island releases on Hatchetgear. I don't know if I can remember the last time Freek Show, Green Book, or the Mostasteless re-release were on hatchetgear, definitely been a minute.

All I know is, if Twiztid did a Green Book show front to back, I'd go to east bumble fuck Russia to catch that bitch. I've said it 100 times on this and other forums, still there best album, beginning to end.

GB was a fresh album, I bump it from time to time. To see it live would be cool too. The booklet was fresh, unfortunately I don't have my copy anymore. So I hope they reissue it but I don't see that happening until the paperwork between them and Psy is done with unless they wanna make a buck off it. To see them perform the album front to back would be dope too. Wouldn't mind for the guest appearances cause I know it wouldn't happen, I mean, maybe but I doubt it would happen. Definately an album to pick up if you haven't gotten it already. I really loved the production done on that album too, Fritz was the shit.

Thankfully, i've got the original release, bought through Europathic in the first months of 2004, with the original cover. Few weeks later Europathic got out of business and i've got the bone.

Best Twiztid release as far as i''m concerned an one of the best Psychopathic releases ever (top 5).

Seems like alot of Psychopathic albums from that long have been out of print for years.  Dunno why.  I just bought a new copy for $45.  It could be because some of the albums like Green Book, Mirror Mirror, Tales from the Lotus Pod, Road Fools were put out independently(no distribution label), or had older distribution labels like RED.  Seems like they have went through many dist. labels and never re-press the albums.  Some albums are still out there like W.I.C.K.E.D.(RED dist.), but thats only 4 years old, compare to like 9 or 10.

Just like you don't see Bizaar, Bizzar, AJB, the Great Milenko on Hatchet Gear.  They are all PSY/Island.  Island must be bitches.  Between ICP and Twiztid's PSY/Island albums, thats alot you cant buy on HG.

Island will always have copies of those on deck for people that go to amazon.com or some other online retalier to people that wanna buy those records, so they really aint that rare- you're just not gonna find Island/Def Jam fowarded a box of copies of Mostasteless to your local Best Buy anytime soon.

you would be surprised how many MAJOR releases are techincally "out of print", but can still be bought at regular price in online stores.

Na, they still used "RED" for some releases if I'm not mistaken.
