…you sympathize by coddling them and giving them moneymaybe you do. i sure as fuck dont.
and i dont call that sympathy, i call that coddling, and giving money. sympathy is considerably more passive than that.
I mentioned coddling. Most people sympathize by coddling in some form or another. You may not but a lot of people do. Whether they let them get away with something they normally wouldn’t , make excuses for them or simply feed their habit because they feel bad for them.
When I give a homeless man some money because he is sitting out in the sun with a dog simply because I feel bad for him even though he smells like alcohol when he comes to my window I am sympathizing AND coddling. There is actually a very thin line in todays society. Well, in my opinion anyways.
Coddling is physically acting on your sympathy. But if we are truthful it is simply enabling a bad habit.

im surprised that any of you even care at all about this.but then, after the way two thirds of the forum went into spaz mode after blahzay… guess i shouldnt be surprised.
so, she says that ‘the truth of the matter is they just couldn’t handle my outspoken, headstrong female personality.’
i wouldnt want headstrong, outspoken people comin into my business and bein outspoken and headstrong. it would get old real quick. and, bein my business, n all, i would tell em that i aint havin it. if my brand new employee who wants to someday be a partner couldnt handle that, id send em right the fuck on.
about the ‘lay off her, shes an addict’ thing…
you can [and maybe should, maybe] give an addict sympathy.
you do not, however, give an addict money, or responsibility. and you definitely dont rely on em for anything.
so let us not go round talkin bout ‘give an addict a break’. they get a break literally every time they fix.
i draw a comparison to the youngsters trying to break into the dispensary biz. There are no bigger red flags than youngsters that try to change the world with their faulty ideas. Ambition is one thing. But they have no respect, no comraderie. They come in BITCHING and WHINING about the owner, the managers, etc. Ungrateful little bitches.
As soon as a new worker says ” man I LOVE my job!”, I get defensive. Those have been the people, from my experience, that are the shadiest, ulterior motive kids. They love the job but don’t want to put in the work. Or abide by regulations.
Tali may be the same. Young, dumb and full of rum.

Honestly, after all the times he’s lied over the years, I’m not sure why we take J’s word on ANYTHING. How many projects has he mentioned that have never seen the light of day, just for starters? This is coming from a guy who actually thinks he saw a monster.
As far as Tali is concerned, we have no reason to take her word, either. It’s purely speculation.
Still wanna see that contract.

Homie you are sour today. I feel like I need to give you a hug or something….would you like a hug? Did you have a bad day?
Usually I see wisdom from you and love but today…something is off. I feel like someone ran over your cat or something. Wish I was closer I would take you out for a brew or some shit.

Also, on the subject of sympathy, I was told from my job to empathize with the customer rather than sympathize. Meaning that you are supposed to show that you understand the customer but don’t show them the pity or anything that enables how they feel because it will just make them feel like their anger is even more justified which makes them angrier.
I was bad at that though, when the store fucked up I have literally told customers to walk into the store and very angrily ask for the manager. Mostly because the incompetence of the company disgusted me more than it disgusted the customer.

Sympathy is understanding how someone feels. Empathy is FEELING how someone feels. So you were better at it than you realized.
Also, Scruffy, if you’re talking about me. I JUST said it’s purely speculation.

Okay, J hyping up failed projects is not him lying, it’s just him being overly ambitions and counting chickens before they hatch. Nobody seems to remember the times when shit he said did happened. J is probably the most honest person in Juggalo rap. He isn’t ashamed of showing his true emotions anymore and this is part of why he is hated so many by people.
And fuck you if you don’t believe he saw a monster….
BTW i’ve done research on detroit urban legends and many people have claimed to see a giant creature there over the years.

J is a live-in-the-moment dude. He wants to please his people as often as possible.
I once said a similar statement…. I said that the two guys in the Clown paint are the realest motherfuckers in hip-hop. I stand by it.
As far as the Monster…. I am a skeptical kind of dude. Agnostic in spirituality and hard to impress. However, I have seen things that I can’t currently explain. Mentioned them in other threads. Everything has an explanation, then again they may not.

Never heard of her at all, but sounds like she has got her life back on track and if so, congrats. That can be one of the hardest things to do ever – getting your life back on track
