I’m in the minority here; I actually like Tali Demon, I think she’s talented.
I do think there’s some validity to the idea that the only reason she didn’t make it on PSY was because she wouldn’t fuck J. – I mean, if Blahzay roze got a fucking album out of taking his shlong? c’mon.
That said, if she was as genuinely talented as she thinks she was, she would’ve been able to make it on another label, she would’ve been able to make it on her own like so many other rappers do. Either that, or she just wasn’t willing to put in the work to make it happen. and I can respect someone with little talent but is willing to put in work than someone who’s talented as fuck but lazy enough to let those talents go to waste.

I’m a little bummed out we never got to hear a Violent J/Blahzay track, I think they could’ve made some super ill story tracks together. I don’t care how “talented” a rapper is, how many words they can say in a bar, or how many multi syllable rhymes they can make, or how they “ride the beat” I just want to be entertained.
I think that shit could’ve been super dope, but oh well. I have never listened to this person’s music, and I’m not going to start now.
