Sydney mate. I was the guy 3 fags tried to jump last time icp were here and lost my necklace in the kufuffle. Could have been worse. One of them left in a ambo and 2 in a cop car. Idiots in the mosh punched my bro in the back of the head and when I turned round one cracked me in the face. They lost more than thier pride that night.

Even his new albums always have a lyric or two about Juggalos. The way he does it is the definition of showing the proper repsect and all Juggalos should respect him for it. Musically, every single album he’s ever put out his entire career has been hit or miss- some bangers on there, and some crap. I agree that his more recent stuff has gotten more miss and less hit, but still there are always a couple of bangers on every album that rival his classic stuff if you listen to them with an open mind. It’s nothing to sit around bitching about, that’s for sure.

Just go watch his interview with Ebro and Rosenberg on HOT 97 once ICP, Juggalos, The Gathering is brought up and you will CLEARLY see he did not want to talk about any of it. He has also NEVER given a spot to ICP or Twiztid on any of his albums. I will just assume it’s because he hasn’t gotten the right beat to do so but who knows. I will not be surprised if he declines the invitation to the march and neither should anyone else.

I mean…what more could we really ask for, though? I’m not the hugest Tech fan but reading stuff like that is what makes me realize why some people call us Juggalos entitled. Thing is, if Tech put Juggalo artists all over his shit and made his sound more exclusively Juggalo it would alienate the other half of his fans that aren’t us. Instead we get tracks with people the Juggalos fuck with, like King Gordy or Liquid Assassin. Hell, KOD was an album that he said was FOR US, what more could we really ask for?
Go to a Tech show. You’ll see a pretty divided crowd. Juggalos are definitely there, but they’re far from the whole audience. That’s actually why I love Strange Tours- it gives us a chance to bring the carnival to folks who sometimes genuinely weren’t expecting that shit. It can be terrific fun when you meet a Tech fan who is the antithesis of Juggalo while you’re balls deep in wicked clown mode.
The takeaway here is, that dude doesn’t owe us shit. When you can pull from both sides of the asile like that, you’ve got appeal and talent that we, even as a subculture that has supported him, can’t take credit for. I’m tired of hearing, in general, “abloobloobloo x owes their career to us” shut up, no they don’t. Talent and hard work build careers, if they didn’t find this audience they would have found another one to get paid off of.
I’m not even a huge Strange mark. I only fuck with Prozak and Lynch mostly, and haven’t bought a Tech album in years cuz the sound stopped vibing with me. Still go to shows cuz they’re live as fuck, but I never walk away feeling like I’m somehow owed something.

He’s not doing us a favor by getting paid to do a music festival. He’s doing a job and nothing more.
I said it somewhere else on here but I don’t think he’ll decline, he just simply wont respond at all and act all confused and shit when people call him for it. Same deer in the headlights attitude about Juggalos he had in that recent interview that was posted on FLH mainpage. Don’t remember who it was with but the hosts were straight up making fun of Juggalos. Like, not even your standard Juggalos make easy punching bags shit either. Straight up insulting us and all Tech could muster was that ICP gave him a tour back in the day and that he gets paid to do the Gathering but he’s working on making his own. That’s not someone that’s down with us. That’s a bitch that will do anything to get paid.

- Not a tech thread but yeah, you guys get it. He hasn’t given a guest or tour or anything. Pretty week. I’ve seen him live too and I don’t think it’s as great as some make out. Although it will always mean more if he’s your fav.
