every time I hear his music I’m either so underwhelmed that I don’t bat an eye or so genuinely annoyed that I get infuriated that one of my favorite genres is represented by this asshat. 

I said that limp dicks does represent nu-metal, he just also sucks cock. I could forgive his shitty image if his music was better, but its not, like I said, he has a few songs that are alright, not exemplary but alright, and then several songs that are actual fucking dogshit. And my problem with all that is that he scared off potential bands and potential fans because they associated the genre with his dumbass.

There’s a few more but honestly not a lot that lean on the rap aspect, most sticking closer to the grunge aspect, and I personally believe its because Limp Dicks scared them away from the rap side of things so they just stuck to the Grunge closer to Korn. Not to indicate that being closer to Korn is worse, Korn is amazing, but still, its a shame that rap almost got taken out of nu-metal. And modern rap metal has less and less of the grunge aspect mixed in and is basically no longer nu-metal, even some of the links I gave are like that, though a lot of it did stem from nu-metal, like attila is often called nu-metalcore.  

 I don’t think anyone who was into Rage Against the Machine at the time stopped checking for them once LB came into existence though, but I get the point you are trying to make. They took a sub-genre’ of music and turned it out, badly.

LB’s first one was actually pretty authentic, “Counterfeit” was the jam, After that, the commercialism reared its ugly face and they sold all the way the fuck out, but to play devils advocate, ICP did buy commercials on MTV and where pretty bummed out when “All The Way” didn’t make it to TRL. People like what they like. I still have LB on a few of my playlist and will jam them, loudly, when pulling up to a clown show and dare anyone to give me shit for doing so, but that’s just me, I love confrontation.

Another thing I find interesting is, If J was telling the truth and Fred Durst and them all hung out for a few days making up and making “Bitch betta have my money”, How TF did he not notice that was Shagg’s? He clearly stared at the stage hands dragging him off stage, something isn’t rite about this entire thing.

In the immortal words of Eazy-E (Fuck you Spange, dont post 20 videos) “All press is good press.”

Lets hope ICP capitalizes off this now.

it’s surprising there isnt one bit of news today about this and what really happened. it’s not even worth discussing until we hear shaggy’s side of it.

The more I think of this and seeing Shaggy’s backstage video “I’m going to drop kick Fred Durst!” or whatever, the more hilarious this is to me. It wouldn’t quite be as funny if he actually kicked Durst, but just his goofy ass doing something crazy like that is classic Shaggy.

That was my first thought as well. Cuz For a while now Stern seemed disappointed that they have become so tame, and when they are on his show, he’ll always give them shit almost, for having become the sane clown posse. So when this happened I thought “Stern must be psyched about this”
