Seriously, this is the man that ruined Nu-metal for years. After him nobody wanted to do the rap side of it, sticking closer to the grunge side, because they didn’t want to be associated with limp dicks over here.
Maybe I’m being unfair, but every time I hear his music I’m either so underwhelmed that I don’t bat an eye or so genuinely annoyed that I get infuriated that one of my favorite genres is represented by this asshat.
on top of that he sometimes gets so fucking soft that I could mistake his trash for lame ass hipster rock.
His image might be the single worst in rap/metal history, I’m struggling to think of somebody with a worse one (feel free to correct me), and I don’t mean his reputation I mean how he visually presents himself, he looks like that asshole we all know and nobody likes, you know the one. He’s the kind of person I hope starts shit just so I can hit them in the face with a chair.

back in the day, there used to be this idea of ‘counting coup’.
the idea was, you run up on somebody like youre gonna take em out, then check yourself at the last moment, and just tap em softly with the end of your staff or sword or whatever weapon you got.
native americans in particular used to do it with rivals that werent necessarily blood enemies. the point was to show that if they had been really trying to attack their target, theydve been fucked.
thats what this reminds me of. look to me like shaggs [assuming its actually shaggs, which seems reasonable enough to me] could easily have blown him off his feet just by, ya know, actually kickin his legs out like an attack, and not a wrestling move.
so, whatever happens from now on, shaggs can always say, ‘remember, though, i coulda nailed ya!’
i would say that its some shit they worked out, and fred no-sold to show ass. but i dunno… is that j draggin him off the stage?

Im calling it was staged. Seems ironic you know with Fearless FRED Fury coming out. Also if it was legit beef why not just sucker punch him? A drop kick seems like a odd attack method. Wouldn’t be surprised if Fred Durst and Shaggy were in on this to gain media attention right before Fred Fury releases. Another note Fred Durst complinmented ICPs set and didn’t he also do his verse for free on bitch better have my money?

There are multiple angles of it on the front page of Faygoluvers. I’d say it’s either staged, or, Shaggy was out there on a dare and absolutely had no intentions of harming Fred.
Though, I’m a little confused about ICP’s relationship with Fred Durst. Durst did that verse for free on Bitch Better Have My Money, and I remember after MDP came out J and Shaggy did an interview and gave him mad props for being so cool and getting it done quickly. But then there was this interview from a couple years ago where Shaggy says they’re not some “corny ass Limp Bizkit shit”.

I’m guessing Shaggy was drunk and thought in that moment it would be hilarious if he tried to dropkick Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit off of the stage. This tour is off to a great start

I remember on Chaos Theory on Violent Js verse he took a jab at Fred Durst being played out. That was 10 years before Death Pop came out as well.

Cmon, kids. Obviously not real aggression. It’s either staged theatrics or Shaggy being himself. This is the same guy that, according to Aaron Yates himself, went on the Tech N9ne tour bus out of nowhere with boxing gloves on and started laying into everyone in sight. Tech then said a girl there started to take it seriously and she became engaged in an hilarious almost-real scuffle with Shaggy for a bit.
He is a jester, a born entertainer. Shaggy is a tough motherfucker; he would have truly busted Durst up if he was intending to.
