Amazing albums, I have a feeling you’ll like them. I’m happy you went into the gathering with a close mind and ended up having a new perspective on us. (not many people do that)

You have my respect for that sir.

Yeah, can’t lie, I left with an entirely new outlook and a shit ton of new found respect for both ICP and the juggalos.

Definitely going to start checking out these ICP albums (Milenko and Riddlebox seem to be the place, however, I like what @robtidwell said about the new album and getting to discover it with the juggalos so that’s gonna be on the immediate check out list)  and since Dark Lotus seems to be the other popular one, I’ll check them out right away. Though I need to check out Jeckel Brothers thanks to the ODB guest spot on there.

The odb collab isn’t really that strong, though. lol. He kinda knew it and they did a second collab which i think is better.

@thenewguy u see all these different opinions and perspectives? Its always a can of worms or something. Thats one of the reasons i love juggalos and this forum.

But i also strongly recommend the great milenko and riddlebox. Forgotten freshness is cool, more so if u like old school hip hop. Like the song graveyard eith project born. I fell in love with the the wraith almost right away. I just played hells pit suicide hotline for a non juggalo friend and he said ” thats fire. if u dont like icp and u hear that and u dont think its fire u dont know shit.” i mean u might like u might not doesnt mean u font know shit.

Each cd is diffrent and diffrent songs on diffrent albums are gonna draw u in. Thats how it was for me at least

But lost and found are new and awesome. Play lost really fucken loud. Louder the better.

YOU KNOW THEY AINT NO SUCH THING AS LEFTOVER CRACK!!!- Leftover Crack

I posted in the Gathering section of the board that this year’s Gathering was my first experience with juggalos and the music (besides for a handful of the more popular ICP and Twiztid songs). Basically, I came with one of the stage shows thinking I would have something to laugh at and ended up having the time of my life and left with a completely new understanding and perspective on the juggalos and the culture. So why am I posting here?

I want to dig deeper. Like I said, I’m unfamiliar with the music. If you guys had to recommend two ICP albums AND two other albums off Psychopathic for someone who’s never paid attention, what would they b

Decisions decisions

id have to say abk – hatchet warrior                     Blaze – 1 less g n da hood      Icp riddle box and great milenko  and  gotta do twiztid freek  show and green book

Dirty And Stinkin’ is an absolutely horrible horrible song but when J drops that line ‘Can you smell me? You know my funk be kickin’, turning heads like an 8 foot tropical mud chicken.’ Shit like that right there is a big reason why I fucks with ICP so hard. The whole song SUCKS! but I’ll still bump it just for that line. Same with that Vanilla Ice song. ‘C’mon!! Wait, is that Stanley? Where’d you get that?’

I would suggest the Hallowicked 2 disk set. That way, you get to hear a song from ICP every year since 1994. It’s a good way to hear how their style has changed through the years.

Thats a great suggestion. Besides, the Hallowicked tracks are some of the best they’ve done… save for ‘Thug Pit’. Ghat damn, that song is wack! D-Loc at his finest, lol.

newguy was askin for two icp albums to introduce him to the clowns with.

for that purpose, beverly killls would be about the twelveth or fourteenth album on my recommendations list.

This dude sounds like a complete fucking trick now that I’ve thought about it. Pick a couple of god damn albums and check them out. Why the hell do you need suggestions for some shit that we all went through on our own? What one person prefers is not what the next person would. Apparently, you are a bandwagon jumper who can’t think for yourself and you want easy access to all the fan favorites so you can be a little juggalo scenester. Opposite of what a juggalo is. A juggalo doesn’t give a fuck and is appreciative to have one ICP album let alone the whole discography. Determine for yourself which albums you like or dislike, punk.

Or, he wants to know what people think are the most accessible so that he can actually ENJOY the music, and then, after doing more “research” move on toward some of the music that might be considered a little more… Aquired.

This. I get what @hahahawooo is saying, though. However, with such a huge discography, both from ICP and the label, it can be a little daunting trying to figure out where to start.

I hope you guys don’t think I’m trying to pose hard or play juggalo, I just wanted to check out more music after having such a good time at the Gathering. With that being said…here’s some quick thoughts.

I got so many suggestions that I ran through a bunch of releases. I will say, Wraith and Milenko are my favorites of everything. Wraith just makes me feel good and it has become a great summer album in the car. Milenko seems to be more like the hip hop I always loved growing up so that connected. I like a bunch of stuff off Jeckel Brothers (I Want My Shit is consistently caught in my head), too, but it didn’t get me as much as the other two.

I’m also slowly getting real into Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Dark Lotus. Twiztid hasn’t caught on with me yet minus a few songs. Also, while just clicking around related videos on youtube I stumbled on Psychopathic Rydas, though it seems a bit tongue in cheek, THIS is like what I loved growing up and that definitely struck a chord.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting shit, I’m definitely going to keep poking around and looking into more and more suggestions.

Man y’alls recommendations are crazy. Great albums, but not a good introduction. Think of the ones that got you into it, not the ones you like now. I’d say for ICP, I recommend “Riddle Box” and “Great Milenko”. For other, Twiztids “Mostasteless” and “Freek Show”.

for someone getting into it id agree but add jekyll brothers

I cant believe I didn’t see more (if ANY AT ALL) suggestions of RINGMASTER!!! That’s what hooked me into the clowns back in 1995. Yes, Riddlebox is classic and The Great Milenko is the ONE for a lot of ninjas….but if I had to give the guy one old and one new suggestion I would have to go with:

ICP-Ringmaster

ICP-Mighty Death Pop

Twiztid-Mostasteless

Twiztid-Abominationz

And another new one that is getting a lot of spin out of me that I may be ridiculed for is YOUNG WICKED’s Slaughter.
