LYTE WAS ON EVERY SONG ON WATER DAMAGE, BUT HAD TO BE SCRUBBED DUE TO HIM FALLING OFF OF THE STAGE AT TGOTJ THIS YEAR. FROM WHAT I’M HEARING, HE LAWYERED UP AND IS RAPPING WITH A NECK BRACE AND THOSE YOUNG FORREST GUMP LEG THINGS NOW.

THEY LOWER HIM DOWN TO THE STAGE AND MAKE HIM DANCE VIA A BODY HARNESSES AND ROPES, LIKE A MARIONETTE.

HIS NEW ALBUM, NOT ON PSYCHOPATHIC, IS AWESOME. I HAVE THAT TOO. ITS TITLED, ‘WHO TURNED OFF THE LYTES, NO, SERIOUSLY, SOME ONE CHECK THE FUCKING CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR REAL’

I WOULD REVEAL MY SOURCES, BUT OBVIOUSLY YOU SEE THE ALL CAPS, SO YOU KNOW IM AT WORK AND CAN NOT DO THAT.

so after giving this a few listens here’s my little review…

all in all it’s another solid Ouija project…I think Gutterwater was a more complete, well-rounded project but that was an album whereas this has been advertised as more of a mixtape so the more thrown together feel to it sort of fits…the features (not including Hoodoo’s excellent verse) weren’t necessarily bad but the guy on Bigot Basher was way too loud and I think some of the other vocals from features could have been mixed better as well to match Ouija’s levels and would have made for a better listening experience…the Bonesaw track is cool I guess if you’re into that sorta Death Grips/$uicideBoy$ style screaming shit…not really for me but I did think Electric Wilbur Loves You was a fun (though random) switch up and actually worked kinda well…hope he does more with that vocal effect in the future lol

so yeah low points of the album…the mixing on some tracks (as already mentioned) and some of the content does get a little repetitive so that’d be something I’d say Ouija could continue to work on…high points and favorite tracks for me are probably Bigot Basher (aside from the way too loud feature verse which I honestly cut off the song lol), Vanish, Majesty (only gripe is I wish it could have went on a few more minutes), Spaghetti, Say My Name (again…would be cool if it went on a few more minutes), and Murdavision…the other tracks aren’t really terrible I don’t think just think these were stronger cuts overall

VANISH    WAS THE ONLY SONG I CARED FOR , KIND OF LIKE GHOST. HOODOO KILLED IT ON THIS TRACK AS WELL.

DECENT RECORD. BETTER THAN WHAT MNE IS PUMPING OUT.

STILL NOT NEAR AS GOOD AS   SWAG TOOF  DEAD YORK

Solid mixtape! The production on Vanish is some outer space type shit, really good. Don’t care much about Hoodoo.

It takes much more to beat MNE if you actually care who’s better. Personally I’m down with both.

What kills MNE for me lately is this pop singing in choruses and some sad middle-aged man shit. Listen to Now and Forever on Gorilla Voltage’s The Lost Tapes or UGA’s The Rising from their latest album for example. Fucking embarrassing to listen.   

Well, at least they are authentic and rap about what they know.
