I loved boondox live. My girlfriend hated him live lol. She said he plays his backtrack entirely too loud and that he stops too much to let the crowd sing along. i think im biased on the boondox show cus half of why i loved it so much is A.) it was my forst concert at the gathering and my first psy show in general and B.) it was one of the best moshing experiences ive ever had. I couldnt really mosh must after the forst day of the gathering do to the grounds turning into a mud pit from all the rain we got.

I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings concerning ABK as an artist. That said, I give credit where it’s due, the man has some pretty fantastic stage presence. As I recall, his set at the 04 Gathering blew me away. Boondox has never wowed me, but I can understand where you’d get a kick out of it, LTB, if it was your first Gathering show. Mine was Lotus, and I still remember the fucking pit for “Swarm” nearly killed me. Good times.

The entire “Tales From the Lotus Pod” album is pretty depressing but in a wicked, somewhat creepy way. That’s gotta be one of my favorite albums. “I Hurt Myself” in particular is a pretty morbid track
