Not a fan of this idea either. Bring in some original ideas, show us something we havent seen yet. Even if they’re doin it well, people wont be too enthusiastic about it, best thing possible is it’s gonna be accepted. I doubt they can achieve more than that, if anything.

So luigi and lyte bryte are planning on doing a “lil rydas” album of some sorts, according to a post luigi made on twitter.  I for one disagree with this move. I knew since the second i saw luigi at the psypher video shoot that him a lyte would do a collab album and im not opposed to that idea, but rydas is an easy cop out. Id like to see them do something we havent seen to show off their creative talents. Anyone can do a “rydas” rap. Only thing they would be showing us is that they can “flow” on a beat. 

Rydas by far is not an “easy cop out” as it hasnt been attempted in years, when they damm well could have and didnt. They dont need to cop out of anything. He have never seen them in rydas so they can show off some creative talent. 

And let me see flow on a beat.

Rydas is not the way to go when them two are still developing their solo images.

Whats the album gonna be called? “Hard knocks on sesame street”?

Only thing good about this idea is that it means their ep or lp will be an intro to a new psy rydas full length, in which i wouldnt mind. But this idea is just them trying to replace lil poot and big stank and that will come off as a generic ripoff.

Ill be down with a lil rydas album if it involves more than just luigi and lyte. Throw hoodoo, clay, and blahzay into the mix and this idea wont get the “rip off” hate.

Psy replacing twiztid is a predisposed notion juggaols have.

Not everything is a twiztid replacement.

When I think of them replacing twiztid I don’t mean that in a legit ‘they are the new twiztid’ way.

For me I just mean the roster has been weak since MNE took everyone away, and having some well received skilled new blood is bringing back that fullness we felt when we had twiztid, blaze, boondox, AMB etc.

At least Rydas parodied gangster rap when it was actually dope. These two know nothing about that era. 
We’re not getting another Duk Da Fuk Down from them. We’ll get some watered down Drill Time bullshit. A generic version of already generic rap. I’m straight.

At this point I’ll take anything from Psychopathic tbh. It isn’t like they gave us a “This or that” option.

I for one am down as fuck for this. I dunno about Lyte, but Oujia’s a funny fucker, pretty hip and musically observant. Lyte’s background suggests legit hip-hop chops so together the ingredients are definitely there. 

I hear a lot of “get ur own gimmick” or “do another project instead”, but that’s the thing- Twiztid and them being in the OG Rydas didn’t exclude them from being in Lotus. Where others say ‘no’, I say ‘Why the fuck not?’ If it’s about Rydas being some sacred cow you can miss me with that, it changed lineups like socks. That said a few cameos from Bullet, Full Clip or even unlikely ones from Converse and Sawed Off would tickle my fancy. 

I still stand by what I said when I said Triple Threat was Rydas with a straight face, which is what made it fucking corny in my opinion. Jacked beats, and bandanas are sorely missed and a sequel is warreted.

Bonus points if, in leui of a flag, Ouija rocked a bigger grill on top of his grill and spit literally with the wet lisp of a kid with a retainer.
