Isn’t another artist being “obviously better” than ICP a completely subjective opinion tho? Like what criteria does a rapper have to meet to be definitively, undeniably better than another? For some reason, you, and a lot of ninjas here on the forum seem to think that everyone’s opinion of a new artist, group, or project is always somehow related to how they feel about Twiztid or ICP.

I was drunk as shit when I started arguing. Still kind of am, but I’m in this now so. Kinda excited that drunk me figured out block quotes, I tried to replicate that now and that ain’t happening.“First you say triple is corny for that but you think this a good idea take the dick out your mouth homie”
I said Triple Threat was corny for taking it so seriously. They’re grown ass men with toy collections, and I betcha if Jamie fired a gun at someone he would look like John Candy. The whole idea behind not only Rydas but even base Twiztid/Blaze is the persona presenting the music. This was whole-hog abandoned for generic thug shit, which was not only inauthentic but also not as straight up lyrical as the OG Triple Threat or Bussyoheadopen without relying on tired gangsta clichés. The whole conceit of Rydas is making fun of these clichés, so if Squeegie and Lyzeey wanna do wanna that, and present it properly, then sure.
“second you throwing in insults because you know I’m making valid points”
No, I did that because I was drunk and frustrated with the fact that we seem to be having two separate conversation. I’ll apologize for that, but if I actually agreed with your points I would also acknowledge that, and I didn’t.
“third you listed only 3 rappers out of all the beats they’ve used”
I don’t have their entire catalogue memorized, but referring to the initial argument even if a new project eschewed g-funk that would make sense since Lil Rydas heavily implies a similar but different approach
“fourth yes that’s changing but not constantly idiot learn the meaning of words first”
This is clearly a pot and kettle situation. Then again, maybe I’m guilty of the same when I suggested you have a drug problem. Clearly I have a drinking problem and that is how I got myself into this mess. Let’s just agree that 1. I think they should do the dumbass album. 2. You disagree with me. And leave it at that.
Agreed we cool homie I mean it could just be a name and have no relation to the rydas

This is cool. I’ll definitely listen to it when/if it ever comes out. Features would be cool if they happen but any new releases from PSY are welcome from me. I think they should use some Three Six Mafia beats and that type of shit maybe even just sample the fuck out of em like $uicideboy$ do. I could care less if they use jacked beats or drape up in bandannas change their names and shit. It would be cool but it’s not make or break for me. Dope rhymes on dope beats’ll do it. Oh and triple threat was the shit, they were still reppin’ being rydas and doing ryda shit just not super gimmicky with rags and aliases which as i’ve said i don’t really care about. I mean the first line on the album was “maybe cuz i gotta bandanna over my face…” and the album was dripping with gunshots and sirens so it was pretty Rydas to me. and just because they’re 40+ don’t mean shit i’m not constantly aware that these dudes are a little older than me, sounds like a stupid ass reason to hate. it’s just music. Ouija has a good ear for beats so i think his instrumental selection will be on point and i have no doubt lyte can rip anything that’s put in from of him. If anyone starts bitching about mixing and mastering and subliminals when this shit comes out i’ll metaphorically blow my brains out. lol looking forward to this.

Cuz “Rydas” has absolutely positively nothing to do with “icp” right?

alright it’s been 3 months now, has there been any progress on this shit or are we getting the bone on any new rydas. what’s holding these dudes back, one verse each, stolen beats…. come on release some new music already. shit.rant over.
They performed this and one other song under the moniker “Lil’ Rydas” at the concert I went to. The last line in the video Lyte says “Lil Rydas”.
Lyte on the second verse and KILLS that shit.
Lil Rydas-Gummo remix.
*not my video.

I understand the entire Ultra Gangster thing, including the bandanas, because its a mockery of gangster rap…at least that’s how it started out. It was Horrorcore rappers playing a role.
Considering that both Lyte and Quija have gangster songs in both their respective catalogs I wouldn’t expect the “costumes” and over the top-ness from them. It would most likely be an actual legit Gangsta rap project from them, taken seriously.
