I went through four copies before I eventually got one that actually had both discs and not duplicates of LP2. Went to the shop I bought mine from and they still had copies left & opened them all one by one. All were Jacks and all had duplicates of LP2 with no LP1.
I eventually ended up ordering from Bullmoose.com and asking them specifically if they could send me a Jake rather than a Jack since I have been reading that it’s only Jack that’s messed up somehow.
See, the interesting thing for me is that I first heard about the issue happening with the Jake version. The person that said it could have gotten their information wrong on which version they were talking about, or it’s just something that affects both versions and you ended up getting lucky
I’m not sure what I want to do. I prefer the Jack design and the color scheme more than the Jake version. I don’t want multiple copies of the album, and I don’t want to have to keep returning copies because they come out wrong. This is becoming such a headache

I know this might be a dumb question but which is Jake and which is Jack I’m going to pick up my copy tomorrow morning and have no clue who is who

An easier way to distinguish between the two
Jack= Smiling face (the faulty one)
Jake= Angry face (the non faulty one)

I got the Jake version and both discs were different they only had the Jake version not a Jack in sight

I ended up caving and bought another copy, this time intentionally seeking out a Jake Jeckel. The seller offered to open up the copy and would only sell me it if both discs were correct. Needless to say both were correct, so I’m getting a proper copy shipped soon. The seller for my Jack Jeckel allowed me to return my copy to him for a refund, but I think I’m just going to keep it and have a set of both Jeckel Brothers
For those who are interested in the album, definitely go out of your way to get a Jake Jeckel version instead, as it seems to be the version that’s least prone to error

I still highly doubt there was only 2375 copies printed of this vinyl I think Island is fucking with us because my record store had like 7 copies left and I live in French Canada
