Apparently people have been getting the bone. There have been multiple reports of people buying the vinyl and getting two copies of record 2 instead of records 1 and 2.
Oh but that’s ok! It’s just the extra-fresh ultra-rare misprint!!
No, for real that is lame af.

What does that mean?
Two records: Both record 2, and each with labels for record 2?
OR
Two records: Both record 2, but one has the label for record 1?
OR
Two records. Record 1 and Record 2, but BOTH mistakenly have label 2?
Who are these people? What is the proof of either of these scenarios? Did they panic and see two labels and think “Oh shit” without playing the damn things? It could just be different records with the same label. You can never know for sure until you play the things.

I know what the claim is but I don’t know how to interpret it. I don’t know what they really mean. Which is why I came up with those three possible scenarios as to what they really mean. Like seriously, did anyone play the frickin albums to make sure they were or were not getting boned?
Hell I could easily imagine one of the scenarios being different records but they mistakenly have the same label? Don’t let the label throw you. Check the records itself to see how long the tracks are. Like check the spacing between tracks. Or at the very least play the things to be absolutely sure.

vinylfucker I understand it’s hard to comprehend but it means they are receiving 2 identical records in the pack. I’m sure someone checked them. Why is it so hard for you to understand or believe that the manufacturer made a mistake? It’s not even that big of a shocker. You sit here like “well did they check the song spacing” or “length of tracks” it doesn’t matter. If I purchased the shit and both records said disc 2 but one of them actually had disc 1 I’d still be pissed because the labels are fucked up.

It’s not. I have a pressing of Iron Maiden’s LIVE AFTER DEATH and the records are different but the labels are the same. Depending on several factors, fuckups like that can be worth something in certain collector’s circles. It would however have to be a rarity and not something that happened too much.

I would be disappointed, but I would suck it up and be glad I at least got all the music. It could be worse.
If these customers can prove they have two records that are both disc 2, send them back and get a new one. I would hope Psychopathic Records wouldn’t fuck them over like that.

I just love how people try to give me shit for allegedly asking stupid questions. And yet Juggalos who are claiming to have gotten two side B discs in the Hell’s Pit vinyl ARE ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS. Is it Record 2 with label 2 both times or is it Record 1 and Record 2, but both have label 2? Someone then suggested they play the records to be sure about Hell’s Pit.
When I do it, it’s bad. When they do the same thing, it’s okay. LOL.

For no reason at all… I’d just like to say… this is one of the most amusing sentences constructed by ‘Man’.
Civilizations have been created and destroyed on the basis of the outcome of the answer to such a statement.
The word, “allegedly”… gold
There are no stupid questions… just allegedly stupid people.

Dropping in to say that I also received a misprint for my copy of the Jeckel Brothers album today. I ordered the Jack Jeckel version off of Discogs. Opened it late last night and only now am realizing that I got two copies of the second vinyl. I did test the records on my turntable and yes they are in fact duplicates of each other. Identical labels, identical music, everything. I don’t even know what to really say but it’s a bummer! All I can really do is hope to return my copy to the seller and exchange it for another that he has and hope for the best
Attached a picture. Not the best in clarity but you can see that both labels are the same

I went through four copies before I eventually got one that actually had both discs and not duplicates of LP2. Went to the shop I bought mine from and they still had copies left & opened them all one by one. All were Jacks and all had duplicates of LP2 with no LP1.
I eventually ended up ordering from Bullmoose.com and asking them specifically if they could send me a Jake rather than a Jack since I have been reading that it’s only Jack that’s messed up somehow.
