J’s memory is so messed up because of the Mandela Effect. You see, timelines are converging so things are getting pretty mixed up. I’m not sure if this is the original timeline, a hybrid, or the new one. In my timeline I specifically remember a joker’s card dropping called the Psychotic Spindel. I asked J at a meet and greet about it and he has no recollection of it. Super weird, can’t even find it on the web.
I remember it though, had so dope tracks.
That’s….preposterous.

I have something similar like that. In 1998 (I was 6) on Christmas, we got Megaman 6 on nes. I specifically remember playing the Plant Man level, and you walk to the left as from the start screen of that level. The first screen has 3 rows of land with the timed bomb platforms, and you could go up through them and go through a level that resembles no part of what everybody else knows to be in that level, and then you fight the normal boss. It’s so weird because I remember it vividly (as does my brother), but I have no proof to support it and it feels like I’m the only one that knows about it. I’m sure it’s Mandela Effect, but it’s super trippy to me. My brain memorized every detail of an entire 5 minute level (seriously, I could draw you a map of it), and it apparently doesn’t exist.

That could easily be a different game, you should ask around a retro gaming forum.

Do less drugs.
Mandela effect is when EVERYBODY remembers it wrong, like Berenstain Bears.
But even that doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, it just prooves memory is fallible.

Like someone else said, likely a different game.
And like I said, Mandela effect is when EVERYBODY remembers it wrong.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter
