When has tech recorded and released music he wasn't proud of??? Who fucking knows? Ur argument makes no sense. Tech still makes great music. I know the gates mixed plate is heted on a lot but his aim was to make a party album cause kod depressed him. He still put out lost scripts and seepage before and after to keep his fans who prefer darker material happy. Also he uses his collabo albums to promote other artists, mainly unsigned and unknown talent. Sounds like a sellout to me. Not comprimising his sound but releasing what HE wants oh and taking the time to put no name artists on his own nationally released album. Big time sellout, wow
I understand this is the icp thread but any good artist who wants to be relevant and successful will strive for televion and radio. Otherwise its like owning aany business and not taking advantage of what comes ur way. Musicians are salesmen, they gotta sell to live

why does anyone give a fuck if they appear on tv? they had the Lets go all the way video #1 on TRL and that's just dominating all the other artists on there, not selling out. its selling out if you start making radio style music. they wrestled on tv cuz they were already wrestlers. I hope they take over the whole music scene, it would be like a kick in the balls (or cunt) to radio and tv for not helping them get there. they've made millions with their style so why would they even try to change to sell out?

How is it misguided or wrong? Is it misguided that I can hear a weak record from a rapper who everybody thinks is "strong' on here? Is it wrong to point a flaw such as laziness or hypocrisy of an artist who everybody on here thinks is the GOAT?
