Yeah, not really talking about who's more entertaining. Only that ICP beat women in real life and so did Chris Brown. And they want him to stop being an entertainer because of it. Since they feel so strongly about it, they should lead by example and stop being entertainers too. Either put up or shut up. Otherwise, yes, they are hypocrites.

I don't even know why this thread is still going...
So, I think I'm gonna throw my opinion in the mix again.
Okay, Chris Brown is an asshole. I don't believe there's any argument to be had there, despite ICP's (alleged) hypocracy.
Joe and Joey beat hookers with bricks (again allegedly. The only source of this is Joe's own admition in a book, and people seem to doubt the books credibility on other subjects, so who really even fucking knows how legit that is). Shaggy punched a dame in self defense. So yeah, from certain perspectives, the clowns are assholes too, I don't think they've ever denied that though.
But the thing for me is, there's still a difference between what Chris Brown did (domestic violence) and what ICP had done (random acts of violence on people who were technically excepting a solicitation for a criminal act). I'm not saying what they did wasn't wrong, but I still find a difference.
I'm fairly certain ICP's been convicted of assaulting men as well, no one seems outraged about that. Double fucking standards.

I wouldn't know, like I said I don't have the book. All I know of it is what I read people discussing of it online. I do believe I recall people on this site saying J paints himself in a less than realisticly positive light in the book. Maybe I'm wrong, that's completely possible. But I'm just saying, if he can lie to make himself out to be the victim, why couldn't he lie to make himself seem more dangerous?
And also, I'm just saying that it's bullshit that people get crucified for beating women yet no one really gives a damn when a man gets hit. Harming anyone of any gender is wrong, and to say it's more wrong to harm one gender is fucking sexist. If Riahna (or however the fuck it's spelled) beat Crhis, it probably would have hurt his image more than the actual situation has. I hate this society.

Rob Van Winkle NEVER beat his wife. She's bi-polar and FALSELY accused him of hitting her in the past. He was actually cleared on the charges. There are numerous occasions where someone is accused of doing something they didn't. Even murder. People have been found guilty of murder by courts in the past, only to later have new evidence come up years later that clears them. Even 20 years later!
